Sounds like an excuse for Michigan fans to use for not being loyal and following their team. That's why personally I would have liked to see Iowa in the bowl with us because:

1. I'm from Iowa and would love to see Nebraska stomp the hell out of them.

2. It would make for a more competitive atmosphere all though it will be nice to have all those Husker faithful in the stands.

3. Did I say I would love to see the Huskers monkey stomp Iowa???

I agree, with how well we played against CU IMO we can beat anyone in the Big 12 North next year. I still know about us beating USC or Texas next year (damn fine teams) but if we do we will for sure be up there in the rankings!

Well if we beat them then people will finally give us some respect because that will show that we are better than people think. I think we can do it but we can't afford any turnovers plus our O-line needs to block and give Taylor and Ross some time to make some plays. GBR!!!

I wouldn't mind playing Notre Dame just because both of our Universities have such a good tradition!

I would also have to say the Alamo Bowl looks like a likely choice for the Huskers and I would love it if they played Iowa. Being from Iowa and hearing all of the Hawkeye fans give me crap for being a Husker fan!!! This would be the icing on the cake for me if they could take it to Iowa!!!
