Yeah I can see your point if we could beat them one: it would show that we are better than people think. two: it would help our recruiting out a ton. three: it would be nice to go into next season 8 and 4!!!

I can see how FSU would be a good matchup in it would show us what our football team is really capable of...........however I have a feeling that they would beat us and it would hurt our recruiting. So I'm hoping for someone like Boston College or something like that because I think it would be a much closer game.

We'll see about the back to back now will we get a NC in the next 10 years yeah I really think we will. I would love to see back to back and I think the West Coast Offense will be much improved next year given the experience will help it come around. No one in the NFL just runs!!! I realize that they have better talent than most of the college teams but I believe it will all come together in the next two years.

Since I live in Iowa this is a very true statement I work with some ISU fans and they are just loving this "slow" period in Nebraska football. But come November 25th they already told me they will be Nebraska fans!!! Only because if Nebraska wins and Missouri loses their game Iowa State is in the Big XII Championship against Texas!!! Holy S&^t think of the score of that game!!!!

I have to say that I am glad we are going to a bowl game if we were not that would be a major disappointment. I would still support the team but I wouldn't be happy with not going to a bowl. By no means am I satisfied with how the team played this year BUT changing the offense takes some time!!! GBR

If we can win against Colorado and then win in a bowl game that will get us rolling into next year and then everyone might calm down a little bit.

Update Iowa State is winning 30-16 with just over a minute left in the 4th quarter Colorado is not unstoppable people! Be positive we can beat Colorado GO BIG RED!!!

I don't accept mediocrity but I also don't want to add to the problem of complaining when there is already enough crap going on with the program.

Yeah well Iowa State started off the first quarter 13-0 so hopfully they will beat CU and we will be CU!!!

Think also when we played Texas Tech and intercepted the ball if the defensive lineman would of just fallen on the ball instead of trying to run with it we would have won that game as well!!!

LOOK NO ONE LIKES THE STATE OF THE PROGRAM RIGHT NOW BUT EVERYONE KNEW IN THE BACK OF THEIR MINDS THAT THIS WAS BOUND TO HAPPEN WHEN YOU CHANGE THE WHOLE OFFENSIVE GAME PLAN. SO JUST SUPPORT YOUR TEAM IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT I'M SURE USC OR TEXAS COULD USE ANOTHER BAND WAGON JUMPER TO ADD TO THEIR SO CALLED FANS. I FIND IT AMAZING THAT SO MANY PEOPLE WERE UNDER THE FALSE HOPE THAT CALLY WOULD COME IN AND TAKE US TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP THE NEXT YEAR!!! COME ON PEOPLE LIVE IN REALITY A LITTLE BIT WE HAVE JUST GOTTEN SO USED TO WINNING FOR SO MANY YEARS UNLIKE ANY OTHER PROGRAM THAT IT HURTS TO HAVE A COUPLE BAD SEASONS WHEN MOST PROGRAMS GO THROUGH THE SAME THING. IF THIS CONTINUES FOR TWO MORE SEASONS THEN IS THE TIME TO CALL FOR THE COACHES HEAD!!!

YEAH I AGREE THAT THE O-LINE IS ONE OF THE PROBLEMS AND IT NEEDS SOME WORK. I ALSO DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY WE HAVE TO HAVE SUCH A BALANCED ATTACK ALL OF THE TIME IF WE CAN'T RUN THE BALL WELL START PASSING TO HELP OPEN THE RUN UP.
