Uhhhhh the dude makes it sound like he squeaked by with Russian help.
I’ve got news for you bro, he ain’t the only one getting foreign help if he did indeed get it. Both sides of the political spectrum get it ALL THE TIME. His selective outrage is hilarious.
Well touché. Your selective nonchalance of GOP misdeeds is also hilarious. Funny how you ignored the meat and potatoes of the message in your haste to shoot the messenger.
IMO it doesn’t matter if he squeaked by with 1% or 30%. The point is his campaign took money from Russians and Putin ally. And the bigger point is, they wanted to contribute to the GOP and his victory. But nah, let’s just worry about how many points he won by and b!^@h about somebody’s selective outrage.

Ummmmm Mike Johnson won his election bid by 3 poi……errrr 30 points.
Uhhh….so?
What does that have to do with Russians and a Putin ally contributing to his election fund? Does his margin of victory make it okay?
Isn’t it illegal to accept campaign contributions from foreign entities?

I once brought a jacka$$ and a honeycomb into a brothel…..
This may be the most important thing they left unanswered in GoT. Tyrion started this joke 3 separate times in the series but we were never provided the punchline. Well fret no longer, I have found the ending to this joke.
Tyrion walks into a brothel with a honeycomb and a jacka$$.
Madame: What can we do for you?
Tyrion: I need a woman to lay with for my wife has left me.
Madame: Oh that’s too bad, why did she leave you? And what’s with the honeycomb and mule?
Tyrion: I gave my wife a bottle with a genie in it as a gift. The genie granted her 3 wishes. Her first was for a home fit for a queen, so he gave her this damn honeycomb. For her second wish she asked for the nicest a$$ in all the land, and he gave her this damn donkey.
Madame: And what about the third wish?
Tyrion: She asked the genie to make my c$%k hang down below my knees.
Madame: Well that ones not so bad, eh.
Tyrion: Not so bad!!? I used to be six foot three.

We recently bought a 2019 Kia Sorrento. Fully loaded. The nicest car we have owned, especially for it being used.
We noticed the cruise control doesn't work. It is still under warranty. I take it to a KIA dealer. They can't find the warranty info under the vin#.
The place I bought it from does a deep dive. The care was first purchased in Canada. Call Kia-US. Need to call Kia-Canada. Call them. I need to drive it to a Canadian Kia. For me, not too bad, I go through Buffalo all of the time to go to my son's events at University of Rochester. Other than having to renew my passport I am someone OK with this. For the price of the work, it is worth it.
So from now on, make sure you know in what country your vehicle was first purchased.
Seems like a bit of needless BS runaround by Kia. You would think warranty work should be warranty work and not country dependent. But anyway, thanks for the heads up.

The funny thing is, let's hypothetically assume that this is primo-grade-A-Columbian cocaine.
In what world does this matter to the current President?
In MAGAland this would be definitive proof that Hunter funneled Burisma funds directly to the Big Guy. Duh.

It hasn't been news that Joe Biden's son was a drug-addicted f#&% up for years. No doubt he did coke, although this looks exactly like sawdust on a table saw lined up as a joke. What does it have to do with anything moving forward?
Anybody that would snort that deserves whatever happens to them. That would be the dirtiest coke I’ve ever seen. Full disclosure- I haven’t seen all that much but I have seen a lot of sawdust.

I DID change to some new shoe inserts (I am now over 6 foot) and it did feel a little better.
Given prior established facts, this means you are now slightly over 5’-10”.

I mean...Russia is listed as a level 4 DO NOT GO THERE.
Like, I was JUST ABOUT to book my spring break flight to Russia but after this...no way.
But I hear Siberia is beautiful in the spring and the partying is WILD.

I’m having a hard time feeling sorry for the Los Angeles woman who was arrested for treason in Russia. She may be a dual national but common sense screams STAY THE F OUT OF RUSSIA. Can’t get arrested in Russia if you aren’t in Russia. Pretty effin simple.

I had never seen The Wire
*ducks*
Been watching it occasionally. Pretty good
The Wire is awesome.
Speaking of “ducks”. The other day I referenced Pulp Fiction to my son and he said he’d never seen it. I couldn’t believe it. I gave him a slack jawed WTF and he thought that was pretty funny.

So, if you have not seen it...it is about a guy that starts a metal work machine shop...and man, let me tell you...it gets CRAZY!!!
(Still not sure if that is what you do)
Close enough. And I know Suits has absolutely nothing to do with that.

Suits season 8 is the worst season of the show. But, the last episode made it all worth watching. Midway through season 9 and wishing it wasn't ending.
Funny you should bring up Suits. My wife has been telling me these last few weeks that I should watch it. Finally decided I would and NOW it gets recommended on HB.

Got Sports Illustrated all through the 70’s until about 81. It was awesome back in the day. Nothing like the AI contrived sensationalism of today. Also miss MAD magazine. Didn’t really do any other mags except we had Playboys and the occasional Penthouse in “the fort”.

Watched last night. I thought it was very good, and an interesting subject told from a new perspective.
One b#tch...the music overlaid on dialog was WAY too loud.
I agree. Thought it was very well done but hearing some of the dialogue was problematic.
I found out I really didn’t know much about Oppenheimer beyond the obvious. I thought Cillian, Downey jr and Damon were fantastic. Often it’s very easy to associate actors with prior roles but all 3 were excellent at not reminding me of anything except who they were playing in this movie.

I just saw who CU signed on for DC and OC. If those same 2 guys were hired for even analyst positions at Nebraska people would be having a conniption fit at how we screwed the pooch….but the media is still blowing Deion.

Is that what’s going on jj? Is it really? The most liberal of networks is saying Willis is toast and you complain about me? Maybe, possibly, could be something else in that “relationship with a man” that is unethical/illegal? Sorta kinda?
But JJ’s gotta shoot the messenger. No not the liberal news media messenger saying the same things as Archy. Nope. He’s gotta skip that and get his weekly digs in.
Yes that is what’s going on. I’m shooting the messenger because this particular messenger is always and constantly passing on messages that align with his party line thinking. Doing the same things constantly all day every day while tossing in infrequent brief statements about how fair and balanced you are….is that really supposed to fool us? What a joke.

Trump: paid hush money to porn star he had affair with. Tried to rig and steal a national election and incited an angry mob to insurrection resulting in the storming of the capital and numerous injuries and deaths to leos.
Willis: had a relationship with a man (gasp).
Archy: waaaa, oh the hypocrisy.

Everybody in CFB pales in comparison to Keith Jackson.
Now get off my lawn.
I like Tony Romo for NFL games. He usually gets too into the game and ends up talking too much towards the end of games but he provides good insight from a players perspective.

Now, get off of my lawn!!!
Pretty much this. Although I was looking forward to Usher. I’ve got 4 or 5 of his songs in my library and was expecting to enjoy it. Not so much tho. His first 4 songs tuned me out. Yeah and OMG are great songs but the OMG blurb was very brief and Yeah doesn’t sound near as good unless you have it on 11 with a good sub thumping.

You would have to show me some, even one, example of how I’m not in favor of charging them all regardless of party affiliation. And remember, I’m not the one in this discussion whose take away from a post about the GOP house speaker taking campaign contributions from Russia was to shrug it off with some tone deaf reply about how many points he won election by. And then follow that up with the bandwagon/ad populum fallacy of claiming everyone does it.
