A lot of people interpreted the ending to mean none of the stuff on the island ever happened. But it all did happen (and that's been confirmed by the creators). So if that was your take, maybe it'll help. I think I know why it was confusing but I don't want to spoil any of the in between stuff you forgot. If you wanna discuss when you're done, @ me.

Okay I got all the way through Lost. I have no idea why I thought I had seen the whole series before. I think all I watched years ago was s1 and maybe part of s2. It makes perfect sense once you watch the whole thing. I was not Lost when it was over. I mean it was confusing at times with all the flash forwards, backwards and sideways and some of the weird stuff that occurs on the island but they explained everything pretty well by the end.

I don't think that account actually believes in "chemtrails." I think they're just pushing the Qanon party line on their gullible followers, reinforcing their beliefs.

That account doesn’t believe, it knows. The deep state NWO has lost it’s grip on that account. I mean come on…”contrails”, like we’re supposed to believe that. It’s right there in the name “con” trails. Like that will throw us off of “chemtrails” or, more accurately, systemic mind control spraying. Wake up sheeple, this is all too real. There’s no way tens of people are this dumb.

Well, always literally means at all times on all occasions. So that’s how I would define it.

In terms of what you are saying about Heritage Foundation, hard to comment without a link to what you are saying.

Links (caution- these indicate that widespread and rampant voter fraud is a repubs wet dream. Proceed at your own peril)

I could not find with a simple google a breakdown by party affiliation who exactly is committing most of the exceedingly rare cases of voter fraud. I have some opinions about it though. I’d start by looking closely at the party that actually believes it is a widespread problem.

Started watching Shogun on Hulu. Kinda like a Japanese Game of Thrones. All subtitles though

They did the English audience a favor by switching all of the Portuguese to English. When the characters are talking English it's actually meant to be Portuguese. So you only have to read the Japanese.

Watched ep1 last night. The subtitles weren’t a problem. A fair amount of it was in English anyway. More confusing were all the referenced characters who I wasn’t quite sure who they are yet. Going to have to delay going further for now though. I’m on a mission to finish Lost.

This may be the funniest froth the right has come up with in recent memory.

The people whose jimmies are in a bunch over this aren't actually affected in any way. They still had their Easter just like normal, they didn't see or interact with any trans people at their family gathering, they weren't forced to do anything related to this proclamation at all.

But boy, are they BIG MAD about this thing that had nothing to do with them whatsoever.

    :ahhhhhhhh

Unfortunately it makes complete sense. MAGA and Trump have absolutely nothing else to offer. All they have to rally around are stupid issues like this. They have to manufacture rage to keep their mentally challenged supporters engaged with them. It’s been this way for quite awhile.

I am sure the financial burden is ramping up.

What happens when they close up a shelter?

I’m not sure other than a bunch of people have to find a place to live and possibly get food (I think they also feed them). I have no idea why a city would basically ask for this added expense. I know a lot of the suburbs and counties surrounding Denver don’t want them and are way less hospitable.

Hmmmmm……not very sanctuary city’ish of them.

I think they’re learning they can’t afford it. Denver just closed 2 of their 4 migrant shelters. That’s what caused these comments. They are closing another one in a week, leaving only one. Not sure how much of it has to do strictly with $$ or if it’s also because the weather is beginning to warm up a bit.

  9. There was a big protest at the Club. They were going to switch from Beluga to Ossetra caviar for the Sunday brunch. Lots of members picketed and signed petitions. I was pretty upset but didn’t protest. Thankfully they stayed with the Beluga. :smokin

I think if I remember we had 4 students walk out.  So, that helped!  Ha

    Greek vs Dorm...I allow it!

Hey it got serious. 400-500 people involved. LPD dispatched riot units. The cops pulled in between the 2 groups and then everybody started throwing at them. They got back in their cars, backed away and waited for it to die down. Then when it was over they arrested a few stragglers…prob uninvolved people walking home from the library

    Hmmmm, was it like...anti-snow?

If not, I don't think it counts!

I walked by a UNL protest of Columbus Day...it was like 8-12 goofs that were calling it genocide day and passing out some stuff.

It was sort of anti-dormie? We started it by throwing snowballs at the first few floors of windows on Pound. Yeah I know that doesn’t count.

There was some big Iranian student protest where they were marching down 17th or 16th or Q street. I totally missed it.

Ohhh i was "sort of" part of a walk-out to end gun violence about 5 years ago I think?

We had some students walk out to try and end gun violence and I could not walk out with them because I was teaching but I did "work" on their behalf to help them not get in trouble for walking out.

Right... Which is why they made this proclamation.

Yeah, I guess I expressed my frustration with the proclamation because of which voters it could potentially alienate but my real frustration is with a country that advertises liberty and justice for all but a rather large subset of the people just don’t f#&%ing get it.

Pretty much what the dude on the View said the other day and those ladies tried to ruin him.

Whoopie actually wasn't so bad to him.

Wait. How do you have the time to watch the View? IMO those shows are even worse than reality TV. It’s all a farce. Created conflicts to sell commercial time.
