    That’s some hardcore questioning

Her- Why haven’t you disclosed any bank accounts?

Him- I’m a man of modest means. We have numerous kids in college/grad school and have a lot of expenses.

Her- Yeah, a lot of Americans are in the same living paycheck to paycheck boat.

What a f#&%ing farce. Yet the gullible eat it up and believe FauxNews.

I don't know why I felt the need to google it, but his last exam in office showed 243, which is slightly obese for his height. He claimed recently he's 215 now. He does look like he's lost weight, but I'm guessing he's more like 230 now, which is overweight.

Edit: woops, I was looking at the overweight ranges not healthy. He's merely overweight now.

No way Trump is not easily in the obese category. If he’s 243 or lighter I’ll eat my hat. Says he is 6’-3” and 215. The eye test appears to be more like 6’-2” tops and easily 250+. BetOnline had the over/under on his weight at 278.5# as recently as Aug 2023.

    6’-3” & 215…..

Maybe the predictors suck at it, which has little to nothing to do with the actual numbers.

I predict the Avs will win by 5 goals tonight. When they only win by 3, I guess that means the Avs suck.

And I don’t need any haters agreeing with me :D

If Liz Cheney was serious at all about doing whatever she can to keep Trump out of the Whitehouse, she needs to launch an independent presidential campaign next week. He11 I might even vote for a Romney Cheney ticket and, I can't believe I'm saying that. It would be worth it, I think to help the more rational Republicans take back the the party from the brainwashed, maga cult.

I wrote in Liz Cheney on my primary ballot. Not that anybody will care but it was my way of saying I wasn’t happy with the choices and particularly opposed to Trump.

You literally can find numbers to dispute the numbers put out in response to Joe Biden’s own quotes.   If you think the numbers being used are wrong, give us the correct ones.  It has nothing to do with me, you, or anyone else.

Joe is taking credit for things that aren’t even happening and numbers were posted to refute his assertions it looks like to me

    Agree

I will keep posting what I find interesting.   You certainly don’t have to read OR respond.   But if you do respond as disagree, a piece of free advice….go-ahead and provide the evidence for why you disagree

I don’t disagree that Biden got caught making claims that aren’t entirely true or things he should be taking credit for. I expect politicians to do that crap. What I disagree with is the spin of the source and how valuable that information is. Anybody with half a functioning brain knows what conclusions Americans for Prosperity are going to arrive at. Posting that is the equivalent of me telling my wife what is going to happen in a Hallmark movie after watching the first 5 minutes. So in a way you’re right, it wasn’t worth my effort to point out the worthlessness of the source.

No I am not.  I know you read my posts and I’ve said they are big spenders too.

We agree.  Sorry but you aren’t really “breaking” anything to me,

Everyone who pays taxes got a tax break last time.

It’s an open forum.  You can provide any data and source you want in order to refute what’s on that site.  But you haven’t, just like you wouldn’t take the time to refute any DeSantis policies last time we talked.  I get it, you don’t like the numbers being what they are, you don’t like him as a person.  But that’s different and much easier than providing evidence.  I certainly understand though

I can’t refute something that the other person is not willing to use common sense on. That link you posted is blaming “Bidenomics” for all the listed problems. Like he is solely responsible for anything and everything that happens in the economy. Yeah he takes credit for things he shouldn’t and he gets blamed for things he shouldn’t. That’s politicians being a politician and partisans doing what they do. Sorry if I’m not going to play along with the charade of it all being due to Bidenomics. In case you haven’t noticed, the economy kind of does what it’s going to do regardless the WH occupant.  Certain policies may help or hinder but that little PAC funded hit piece is certainly nothing anybody should put much stock in. But go right ahead and keep teeing up the partisan BS, it’s what we expect.

I guess we will agree to disagree.   The data inside is sourced.  Their ratings of politicians doesn’t change it.

“Sourced”? More like curated for a purpose.

Are you really still under the delusion that the R party is the party of fiscal responsibility? I used to also think that once upon a time. Hate to break it to ya but neither party is fiscally responsible. One party simply votes no on any spending measure the other party comes up with. And then they turn around and give tax breaks to the ultra rich and big corps. Both have the same fiscal effect. But I guess it’s good enough for you to glean “sourced” data. :lol:

  8. I don’t think Colorado thought they would be successful in keeping Trump off the ballot. Maybe…maybe with a different SCOTUS but definitely not with this one. As for if it was stupid, only time will tell. Trump supporters have a history of taking anything just exactly how they want to. I’m not sure giving them this ruling helps them in anyway. If they had lost, they would’ve just pivoted to more witchhunt and Dem controlled system persecuting dear leader. There’s really no winning when a group has their head that far up their collective arse.

Fast food in general sucks now and is not longer a value. If all fast food joints went out of business it would greatly benefit this country

IDK man, it’s kind of nice knowing where all the worst employees are going to be. Without fast food places those people could end up in jobs anywhere.

Yeah, I’ve been screwed over in too many drive thrus.

It changed a lot probably like 10+ years ago or so.  Probably for a few reasons but depending on the district you will either just say "No" or sign waiver type thing or get a doctors note and I have seen religious beliefs as well.

So all the people that do it right can still be exposed by the anti-vax whackos. I think that’s effed up. Measles, Mumps Polio etc., if you elect to not be vaxxed then that should relegate you to home schooling.

Put me in charge of these things for one week if you want some problems solved.

I mean if the discussion is crazy leftist policies, I think moving to embrace more draconian measures would be beneficial.

Let's get some tougher deterrents to start cleaning up these hellholes. Or we could just continue with 24/7 crime and chaos.

We’re talking Austin TEXAS here. Obviously the solution is tougher abortion laws, further arming citizens with more and better automatic weapons and for godsakes, let’s pick up the pace on book burnings.

So, getting vaxxed is "required" but it is not enforced.  You can just opt out of it, it has been that way for years.

Trump is just talking out of his a$$.

I knew you could opt out of some vaccines but (serious question coming) can kids without MMR or polio vaccines attend school in person?

Maybe?  But it's also much better to sell things at much lower margins that just eating the cost all together.  Remember, their patties are never frozen :thumbs  Gotta move that inventory!  Plus the possibility of getting new customers in the door.

No dog in the fight, just throwing out an idea...

Oh I’m sure they’ll use it both ways. Heck they may as well be using dynamic pricing now. Between inflation and my infrequent fast food trips, I really have no idea what anything is going to cost now.

  14. Or maybe not…

But after news outlets ran stories warning that Wendy's was planning to hike prices during the busier times of day, company executives tried to better explain what Tanner meant.

"To clarify, Wendy's will not implement surge pricing, which is the practice of raising prices when demand is highest," Wendy's Vice President Heidi Schauer said in an email to NPR. "We didn't use that phrase, nor do we plan to implement that practice."

Wendy's didn't provide many additional details, but it said in a separate statement that the digital menus could allow the company to offer discounts to customers during slower times of day.

  15. I am not happy with the Avalanche today. They traded Kurtis MacDermid to the Devils for some nobody prospect and a 2024 7th round pick. Toughest enforcer in the league and they’ve had him riding pine and now trade him. :steam  He could play forward or defense and they really weren’t losing that much playing him on the 4th line. Helped keep the other team’s tough guys in check. I hope he beats the s#!t out of one of our players the next time we play New Jersey.  Now the toughest guy we have is Manson. He’ll go but he’s no Dermie.

What are his “far right preferences regarding schools, books, wholeness, etc?”  If you are aware of them.  Thanks in advance for providing clarity

Have you listened to his speeches or press conference Q&A’s from beginning to end or just clips posted on social media, news channels that may or may not be taken out of context?  I’m guessing the latter.  Thanks in advance for providing clarity

It’s a shame you vote based on personality vs policy in my view.   It’s what people usually complain about with Trump voters.  Voting based on cult of personality.

    I wouldn’t know.  I don’t worry about or think about the size of a man’s d!(k :dunno

I’ll save you some time and myself some effort. I don’t like Desantis. It’s that simple. If you want to believe it’s because of the national media or because I haven’t personally vetted him properly, I’m okay with that. You’re not going to change my mind. And it doesn’t matter anyway. He has already come as close as he ever will to sniffing the WH. If you want to write him in, fine by me. Hell I wrote in Liz Cheney on my primary ballot just to send a message.
