  1. I feel I should give you a fair warning on what it will be like when the BYU fan base converges on your stadium. Its not a pleasant experience just so you know. Each family will come with many kids like 4-10 kids each. Kewger fans are the tightest fanbase in all college sports so they won't buy anything from stadium. After taking their seats, you can watch as the parents will start passing around Capri suns and peanut butter sandwiches and plastic bags of pretzels and stuff. They will be wearing old BYU shirts that you maybe won't even be able to read because its so old and faded that say religious slogans like "spirit" or "true". BYU fans also really look down on people drinking coffee or beer or anything like that so they will look on you harshly if they see it. Then BYU fans are known to be angry if their team doesn't win the game and might throw their sandwich wrappers and trash and cups on the refs or onto the field in a loss. This happens all the time and youtube has alot of videos if it like this. Kewger fans are even worse than WWE fans and throw trash all the time.
  2. A couple of things you need to know about Bronco and the BYU program. The only time they ever announce a suspension is when they absolutely have to. The Takitaki suspension was announced because he was charged with a civil crime which is made public so there was no reason to withhold word of the suspension. Normally at BYU suspensions will be announced at or shortly before game time and the reason for the suspension isn't made known unless it is addressed by the player suspended. BYU, being a church owned university treats these things like many churches do, as a confidentiality. The players are free to reveal the reason but BYU won't. About the most you'll ever hear from the school is that a player was suspended for breaking team rules or for and Honor Code violation. Not having Bronco announce any suspensions for the BYU/NU game isn't any ploy on his part it's just the nature of the beast. Its been disgraceful how BYU has handled itself after the football team started the brawl because the Kewger players were mad because they just got beat by a Sun Belt team. Memphis announced many suspensions immediately and BYU didn't do a thing. There was even the video of a BYU player punching a Memphis player in the back of the head while defenseless while his Tigers coach held him back. Disgraceful doesn't even describe it. Im getting to the point where I don't even want my school to play against BYU anymore. They always try to demand that 2 games get played in their crappy dump of a stadium in Provo. It smells funny down there. And only one game at our home. I'm sick of it and fed up. Don't ever agree to play a game in Provo. Let BYU's home schedule be Wagner and Savannah State and stuff. Its the worst home schedule in all of college football by far.
  3. BYU was a easy cupcake for Utah State, Boise State, Nevada, and many teams last season. The Kewgers will be a cupcake for Nebraska to if you follow the simple formula to shut BYU down by not allowing Taysom Hill to get yards on the ground. Its also a important game for Nebraska on national TV and the new coach's first ever game. There's no way the Red's coach staff won't be ready. BYU every fall doesn't even use all the practice sessions they are allowed to have because every year they think they're so good and will go undefeated that they don't need to bother practicing. This is really true. No joke at all. BYU is a one person team with a questionable defense. Make Sure the one person doesn't get yards on ground and the game will be a cupcake.
  4. Alot of BYU fans have already declared a win against Nebraska on their way to a 4-0 start for the Kewgers this September even against other teams like Boise State and UCLA. On BYU fan sites and the comment sections in the Utah newspapers BYU fans are saying Nebraska will be an easy game for them because of their QB Taysom Hill who they say should win the Heisman Trophy this year. BYU all the time during the off season and before the season fans start going around saying their team is 100% for sure going to go undefeated and win a bunch of awards and stuff. I saw some Nebraska fans posting on BYU sites wondering why BYU fans think it will be such an easy game for the Kewgers and they get jumped on fast.
  5. Over the last 7 years, the only games I remember us losing due to the passing game was to TT and OU. BYU's best chance to win the game is on the ground, mostly with Hill. DB is the strongest part of the team, and I just don't see how we lose by the passing game. I don't see Taysom throwing for 300, but running for 150+ could very well happen. This is the right way to see it and to gear up for the game. Taysom Hill won't have the WR or a good enough offensive line to give him the protection needed to have a good game passing. BYU will also be without any good RB. You will just need somebody speedy enough to chase down Hill quick when Hill realizes he doesn't have anything and has to run and that will happen all game. On defense, BYU has a real bad secondary on defense so passing shouldn't be to hard for your team. Put max protection on Nebraska's QB and he will be able to have a field day passing all day long especially deep balls.
  6. Are you implying the whole country isn't looking forward to USU v BYU's annual thriller???? I've got it circled on my calendar through 2020. USU against BYU is a great and intense game and rivalry. The game is scheduled as the last game of the year now in November in college football rivalry week because its become such a big in-state rivalry between the 2 teams. I said before that BYU fans are terrified of losing to USU 2 times in a row and then dropping to 3-3 in the last 6 games. The game they want to win the most this year is the rivalry game against the Aggies. Guess what, the game is in Logan this year so with the USU student section there and loud USU will have the big edge and should win the game. It will change the whole world of recruiting in Utah if USU can win two big games in a row against BYU. People in local sports radio are already predicting USU to win. You won't be disappointed if you tune in and its already scheduled to be televised on national TV on CBS during rivalry week. AggieAndee...didn't your mother ever teach you that lying is a sin? I haven't talked to, or read one BYU fan saying that the usu game is the game we most want to with this year. You preach this crap every year to every opponent we have. You spouting about it doesn't make it so. Just crawl back in your cow pasture and let the adults talk about football. This is what starts the whole awful thing. BYU fans talk down to everyone else and make all these jokes like theyr'e so much better than us and USU and the state schools are classless. Things have changed. BYU was a good team a long time ago when the coach Lavell Edwards was there 30 years ago. And here's something BYU fans will always try to hide, Lavell Edwards was an Aggie and a USU product!!! BYU isn't any sort of dominant team to even worry about any longer. Now BYU loses constantly to teams like USU, Nevada, San Jose State, Memphis, and all sorts of other teams. BYU fans have no right to sit there and make fun of others when their team can't even win against a low team like Nevada.

  8. I don't hate BYU or anything. Its a huge and intense in state sports rivalry and so there is trash talking. It could be one of the bigger rivalries now. If you saw some of the posts from BYU fans about USU and the state schools, you would see. BYU fans will post all kinds of wild things like pictures of USU staff and talk about their mullets and stuff. Good luck in your game against BYU and good luck in your upcoming season this year. Remember about the speedy spy on the QB.
  9. USU destroyed BYU in 2014
  10. Utah State players in the NFL: 17 BYU players in the NFL: 15 Last 10 years of BYU results against Utah State: L W W W L W W Didn't Play W Didn't Play One win every 4 years leads me to think you're overcompensating for something in your head, eggie. The losses to BYU happened before Utah State turned things around a few years ago. Now the Aggies are a program on the rise. USU got invited to the best G5 conference and shares a conference with teams like Boise State and San Diego State. We also almost upset Auburn at their home the year after they won the national championship. Auburn needed last-second desparate touchdowns and only beat the Aggies by only 4 points. This year USU is bringing back it's star QB who's probably the best QB in the state. So after USU beats BYU again this year, the Aggies will be 3-3 against the Kewgers in the last 6 years. The thought of the 3-3 record against the Aggies and two losses in a row has BYU fans terrified.
  11. I appreciate your insight. I understand that there is bound to be animosity between with in state rivals, but I can sort through that. Thanks for your insight AggieAndee. Thank you. I'll try to be as helpful as I can. The animosity between Utah State and BYU has reached extreme levels now that the Aggies beat them on a regular basis on the field and send far more players to the NFL than the Kewgers. BYU fans are very upset about the parity and do stuff like write "little brother" in place of "USU" on the score boards when we play. BYU fans will say that Utah State has only beat them 5 times in several decades but Utah State's program is on the rise beating BYU twice in the last few years and producing alot more NFL talent. If you want to see a great game when USU beat down BYU at their home last year, forward this video to the 2 minute mark and you will see why it shouldn't be a tough game for Nebraska...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_CMsQVgefg
  12. Another thing. Don't believe that there will be 10 suspensions by BYU because it won't be anywhere close to that at all. BYU will keep the suspensions to the minimum they can for a game like Nebraska. It will be 1-3 suspensions and then if need to they will suspend players later in the season for games like Wagner State.
  13. I want to share information about BYU and give you the code on how to beat the Kewgers and a fair warning about what to expect, like watching out for chop blocks and helmet to helmet tackles. BYU does what it calls "plays on the edge" to make up for it's talent gap and that's why its one of the most penalized teams in football. Many of QBs have been taken out of games while playing against BYU. I'm not trying to offend anyone and have nothing but pure respect for Nebraska. Remember its all about putting a speedy spy on the QB. If the speedy spy is faster than Taysom Hill, you will win the game without any trouble.
  14. I told you there wouldn't by any suspensions at BYU for starting and their part in the brawl. The BYU coach maybe just made the assailants run a lap or two and called it enough. Then at Memphis half of their team got suspended.
  15. Mr. Caveman, I can tell you all about the Kewgers. They're a funny people. The thing BYU or Kewger fans hate and despise the most are state schools. As a private religious school, they think they're better than everyone else especially lowly state schools like Utah State or Utah. A couple of years ago, their quarterback Max Hall just went off during a live press conference about how the state schools and everything about them are classless and pond scum and below BYU. It's why Kewger fans get so mad and angry about the state schools passing them by by beating them at football like they have been lately. The BYU sports department has the difficult attitude also and that's why conferences don't want to invite BYU. They are just like Texas where they are super high maintenance and come in with all these demands like their own network and treat all the other schools in their conference bad. Just ask schools that's been in a conference with them like Wyoming or San Diego State. Since the Big 12 or PAC-12 didn't want the Kewgers and the MWC was happy to send them on their way, BYU threw a little fit and took their ball home and went independent.
  16. Don't think BYU is a good team. The only thing the Kewgers have done in years is beat a super bad Texas team that was in the middle of a bunch of suspensions and coaching changes. Then BYU went on to get creamed by bad G5 teams like Nevada and Central Florida. I can throw you a bone here too. Your new coach has a better opportunity to beat BYU more than the coach from last year. Hear me out. Riley has faced BYU twice in the last few years at Oregon State. Riley knows the lowly Kewgers like the back of his hand. It will be easy for him to game plan and prepare for the Kewgers. This one is in the bag. If Nevada can beat BYU, Big Red can easily beat BYU, especially when the Kewgers have all the suspensions and stuff. Put a speedy spy on Taysom Hill and Nebraska will win by several scores. Thanks for the hospitality on this board.
  17. Nebraska doesn't have any worry about playing BYU now. It's a sure win because BYU's star RB and one of a few players with talent has been withdrawn from school. The stable at RB at BYU is empty because the RB recruit that may have been a legitimate threat at BYU got into trouble with a prostitute in Texas. So they key to beating BYU became simple. All Big Red will need to is contain Taysom Hill's ability to run. BYU won't have much of a passing game or a running game neither aside from the QB. Put a speedy spy on Hill and the BYU will be stopped ice cold. BYU will be an easy win for quality teams like Nebraska, Utah State, and UCLA this season.
  18. My thoughts are we'll probably score 20-30 points. BYU doesn't out-athlete Nebraska, but, IMO, they have the better signal caller. The question is, can the defense stop Hill? Yes, he's not an elite thrower, but we've also had a hell of a time with guys like him for, oh, a decade or so. The game comes down to Banker and his ability to stop him. Come out early, and put immediate pressure on him. Force him to throw quickly, and often. Do not, under any circumstances, let him hang back and choose a spot to throw, or pick a lane to run. If the offense can sustain 5+ longer drives, and the defense can hit him early and often, we can win by 7-10 points. On the flip side, the OL needs to protect Tommy. We don't need him getting knocked out like Sam Bradford in 2009. It's Riley's first game, and it's a 3:30PM national broadcast on ABC. There is going to be a rather large audience watching this game. Don't lay an egg. Yes, this one, Big Red's coaches need to be super careful and watch for dirty hits coming from the Kewgers. BYU's coaching staff says that their defense "plays on the edge" which really just means they're dirty. They have to rely on dirtiness to make up for their talent gap. If you look at the QBs who have been taken out of games and suffered prolonged injuries while playing BYU the list is very long. In 2013, Utah State's Heisman contender QB was taken out for the season by a hit from BYU in a game the Aggies likely would've won. In 2009, Sam Bradford was taken out by BYU in a game Oklahoma would've won for guaranteed. There's a number of others like Connecticut's QB last year was taken out against BYU. If you watch the replay of the brawl the Kewgers started with Memphis it tells you a lot. The Kewgers are angry probably partly because no conference wants them and stuff after they were encouraged to leave the MWC. You will need to watch for helmet to helmets, low blocks, hits after the whistle, and stuff like that.
  19. Not to be a big buttinski but I need to chime in about Big Red's new coach as a big college football fan. It seems like Mike Riley was hired as a reaction to the last coach who maybe wasn't very good at the PR part of the head coaching job and maybe not always a "fan's coach." Mike Riley is known as one of the nicest men in college football so he will connect with players and fans in Nebraska straight away. Now in the meantime, Riley is one great football coach to. He did wonders with a team that never gets good recruits or anything at Oregon State. And here's the best part of all, Riley has played and knows how to beat BYU. That's all that should matter now. If the coach can crush BYU, he'll be off to a good start. Please beat the Kewgers.
  20. @Landlord I don't know what you mean. I'm rooting for Big Red and want BYU to lose. Most of the state of Utah don't like BYU anymore and want them to lose to. It's important as a matter of fact. There are rumors flying all over the place that the Big 12 might be interested in BYU. But if BYU loses to Nebraska and has a bad season, it would be almost be for guaranteed that the Big 12 would look elsewhere instead. I just want to share all the information for Nebraska to beat Kewgers in September.
  21. @girlknowsfootball Don't count on 10 BYU players being suspended. It will be one maybe two Kewger players being suspended. The only one suspended for guaranteed will be the player caught on TV pounding on the back of the Memphis player's head while his coach held him back defenseless to the brutal attack from behind. But the BYU game shouldn't be tough for Nebraska to win. BYU lacks talent and depth. Just look at how many players BYU puts into the NFL, its hardly ever. Not one player from BYU was drafted into an NFL team last year. BYU's secondary on defense is real super bad to. Your QB should be able to throw deep all day long. Just look at who BYU played and lost to last year. They lost to so many MWC teams - Utah State, Nevada, Boise State - BYU would finish near the bottom of all the teams in the MWC last season. BYU is not a P5 team like they claim and left the MWC because the Cougars couldn't hack it and didn't want to play second fiddle to Boise State and Utah State in that league.
  22. I can give the code to beat BYU. BYU doesn't have much talent on offense aside from the quarterback who's really a running back because he can't pass very good. If your coaches go back and look at how Utah State and Utah have been able to shut down the BYU offense for years, Nebraska will win for guaranteed. The way Utah and Utah State has been able to beat BYU year in and out drives all the Cougar fans crazy because they hate so bad to lose to the two state schools in Utah they look down on and despise so hard. BYU fans run around saying they're school is the Harvard of the West for academics and the Notre Dame of the West for sports. OK the code, if you lock down BYU receivers, it puts Taysom Hill in a position that he has to run in order for the Kewger offense to gain any yards. The offense is mostly 1 dimensional with the lack of talent. It's also not very hard to shut down BYU passing game because Hill is almost always off target, sometimes badly. So after shutting down BYU passing, put a spy on Hill who can run faster than him. Hill will start running a lot if the passing game is going bad, so you just need to get him that that's his only option and he'll play right into your defense's hands if the spy is quick enough to run him down. Your coaches should also be aware of possible cheap shots like the horrible helmet to helmet hit BYU did on Washington posted above. Good luck in the game. A lot of people in Utah will be cheering for Big Red.
  23. It will be one or maybe two players that BYU disciplines for the fight BYU players started with Memphis players. BYU is notorious for not discipling players. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if the only Kewger player got a suspension is the cheap shot artist caught on TV pounding on the back of the poor Memphis players head while he was being held by his own coach defenseless from the brutal attack from behind. BYU is so smug and holier than thou that it does what the coach calls handling player discipline "internally" that means no discipline at all.
