This is just speculation, but if he's having all these legal issues and he's not playing this spring, people could be worried about his grades. I guess we'll have to wait and see if any more context comes out.

An accountant has a client that makes $500K/yr from his youtube channel.  His videos are him playing arcade games.

My friend's 15-year-old son makes a decent amount of money every month just completing levels/missions on games. People will pay him (sometimes a group) money to complete missions to level-up or to get past online missions in order to move on or get more stuff. Crazy.

Not sure where to put this, but it's kinda related. Right? I thought it was funny though.
