This is what I said earlier. I have never ever seen 3 games in one season with a 10-13 score and walk-off FGs. Football Gods flipping us the bird. It has been gut wrenching season once more and listening to Rhule’s pressers afterwards even more painful.

Can we please stop using injuries as an excuse for piss poor performance. Every team has injuries. Iowa had injuries yet they found a way to kick our A$$ at our home again when we were playing for bowl eligibility. Football is a mindset. The packers found a way to beat the 8-2 Detroit lions because they came to the game with a mindset that winning the game was a must. Iowa came with a mindset to win 10 games and put us in our place and they did. We have a weak mindset because our coaches are weak minded. When you keep giving your team excuses for the loss, they will get comfortable with that. I do not see any fire in our players or coaches. They say the right things in pressers but they never back it up with action. Talk is cheap.

Talk is cheap. The results on the field show that this team has failed to improve. Every week they find a way to ensure that the result is the same. A Loss. Good teams find a way to win. Why aren’t our player leaders calling the team out like Wisconsin did? Sometimes I feel that our players got accustomed to losing. Any why not? There have been zero consequences. No matter how much they suck, we still sell out the stadium. We still pay stupid peacock to watch them suck, and we still travel to see them suck. For them, they can suck and our support is unwavering. So, they believe they can do no wrong. I believe it is time for the sellout streak to end. That will send a clear message but unfortunately we have way too many koolaid drinkers for that to stop. I, for one, will not be buying more tickets until this s#!tshow changes.

I was never a fan of firing Bo Pelini who was giving us 9 wins every season, especially after we fired solich, but that is what happens when you think you are an elite team when year after year has proven that those times are long gone. Now, we have to settle for being bottom feeders below so many of the teams we used to make fun off.

For those who are arguing that Rhule did a great job this season, just step back and look at what northwestern’s coach did. Arguably, the northwestern coach has one tenth of the experience that Rhule has and he has half the talent in his team tha Rhule has yet he got his team bowl eligible and we could not win a single game after being 5-3 to get to a bowl. By comparison, coach Rhule has severely underperformed in his first year given the ease of schedule and the remarkable fan base supporting this team. Again, the fans deserve better than this s#!tshow. The best think about husker football is the fans and their support for this undeserving team.

I learned that it is possible to lose three games in one season by the score of 10-13. Amazing. Do they give trophies for that?

Rhule is Frost 2.0. We will be here next year discussing the same exact problems and issues. Rhule will not fire Satt. We might lose coach white who has been the one bright spot this season. Our QBs are awful and talented players on offense are inconsistent. Our players body language coming out of the gates was that of a scared bunch who did not believe they can win. I remember pelini’s teams coming out of the gates. They had emotion. This team is dead. Rhule said last week that the players were crushed and hurt. If that were true, they should have come out today with fire and passion. Instead, they came out knowing that they were going to lose. Failure of success is a real thing and this team reeks of that.

All I know is that husker fans deserve better than this s#!tshow. Now, people will listen to rhule’s BS trying to justify yet another horrible loss and they will eat it up like thanksgiving turkey. Sick and tired of coaches who talk as if they know what they are doing. While some on this board would like to blame our players, they are not the ones getting paid millions. Our coaches are and it is on them to put their players in a position to win. Our defense got the turnover we needed to win and Matt Rhule and Satt botched it with horrible play calling. You are who you are. You are either a good coach or you are not. Rhule is OK. Satt is not. Expecting different results next year is a pipe dream. If I were Ty Robinson, I would declare for the NFL. Would not waste an opportunity on this lame offense.

This is not rock bottom. Rhule will not make coaching changes. Like his predecessors, he believes we are close to turning the corner. The reality is that we are so far from that corner, it might as well be eons away. Not a hyperbole. The West this year has been the worst division in power 5 football and we only mustered 3 wins against teams that are not so good. Even northwestern found a way to become bowl eligible. Next year will be worst. We will be lucky if we get to 4 wins.

I would take being Iowa a 1000 times before the dumpster fire we call husker football. No guts, no swagger, no courage, and of course we will have no glory anytime this century.

Yet Rhule defended him and thinks he is the solution. There is ZERO evidence that Satt is a good OC. In fact, he is one of the worst I have seen in all of FBS. I would pick Brian Ferentz over him 100 times and that is saying much as Brian’s offense averages less than 250 yards a game but won 10 games, arguably against losers like us in the big west losers division.
