Sims is the more talented QB of the two, period. Yes, he needs to make better decisions overall, but Sims has a better chance at winning in the Big Ten -- HH just isn't talented enough.

Yes indeed we do have plenty of problems on this side of the Missouri river. Misery loves company so it is always interesting to see how others "spin" reality to make a chitty team better in their minds than reality. Remember, we lived through allot of years when Nebraska was good and your fans looked down on us, so it is a bit refreshing to see the Huskers be so bad. For some reason, they just cannot shake the loser mentality.

To be fair, weve never stopped.

Our fan base still overreacts when we play good against a weak opponent.   HH played ok but the defense he faced was significantly weaker than Sims faced in the first 2 weeks.   That said,  I think you have to continue the trial by fire with him until it doesn't work.

I would also argue that we scored more in the 2nd half because they did exacty what there were suspost to.  They wore the d down and the points came easier.  Trust the process, keep moving forward, play with confidence and the wins will come.

Rhule is overrated? Who couldn't improve Baylor and Temple? Stunk at Carolina? Bo Pelini is looking for a gig? Nebraska is now only a volleyball school? Lower expections? Move to the Mountain West? Form a new conference with Washington State and Oregon State? Who can compete year in and year out with Michigan and Ohio State anyway? Did I mention Penn State? Soon will get to play USC and UCLA and Washington and Oregon? Yipee? Northern Illinois has won in Lincoln? Watch out? Stop badmouthing Prime? He knows football? Keep buying those expensive tickets? Will need millions more for coach buyout in 2026? Suckers!!

Ok, so who are we guessing Colorado fan,  I would guess Colorado, but also i could also say maybe Iowa, or Northern IL maybe Panthers Fan.   Oh and by the way, Its easy to gather fools to the clown show.

  5. 24 hour media blackout starts tomorrow.  I want nothing to do with this until its over.  I very much loath Deion more than i love nebraska.  And i have no desire to watch the media masturbation that will be displayed about him tomorrow.  Catch yall for the next one.

We’ve been top 25 in recruiting for a decade. The biggest thing is leadership and direction which we’ve failed at but that’s no excuse to settle for Brett beilema. Did you see Wandale’s career in the SEC? It’s obvious we can recruit a competitive roster but asking retreads to take us to a place they aren’t competent enough to do seems like the real mistake. I’m not giving Rhule a single excuse if the wind is out of his sail. Good coaches win and he’s getting paid a pretty penny. Let’s not forget he brought in about 40 new players himself

This makes alot of sense, like people said pelini did good because he was able to coach up calahans recruits, then build up on his own after that.

TBH rooting for the Huskers has gotten harder over the years, mostly because of "the glory days" thinking by fans as the only way to win and be successful.  And name-dropping Osborne as an argument.

1 game into the year, after losing on a walk-off field goal and "the sky is falling" ??!!?!

    Sheesh...

Maybe were sick of it happening, imagine every time you went to out on a date with your spouse they kicked you in the groin instead of hitting the sack with you.  You would get pretty f#&%ing tied of that.

OK, let me get this straight. It was better to lose the first game than to win the first game? After losing for 20 years, it seems like maybe the players, coaches, and fans have grown used to losing. This whole "I'd rather lose now and build" is BS. With the NIL and transfer portal this theory is so 5, 10, or 20 years ago. The days of recruiting a player and that player having the loyalty to stick with the team until they get to start as a Junior or Senior is over. You either win or the good players will leave.

Out of everything, I'd be most upset that Ruhl did not seem pissed at the presser. He should have been pissed at his players, coaches, and refs. It might not have changed anything, but it could show some passion, which is something that I thought he had more of.

If you do start to build a program, he will be off to the Pros again...................................

I would imagine that he wouldn't go to the NFL again.........However, he is definitely a coast guy so i can see him bolting for his Alma mater or another coastal school.

  9. Deion Sanders is a fool, the more i watched him after news broke out he may of be at Nebraska and i saw how Deion seems to be more about himself than his players.  All i see is a man who clearly wants his own lifetime NIL deal.  Id like the wins but i have zero want for the circus that would follow that.  Some of you didnt even want what the likes of Urban Meyer would of brought as far as media attention if he came here.

Dion is 100 times what Rhule is. I still hope Rhule wins, but without a doubt Dion is a better recruiter, coach, and motivator. Moms would love for their sons to play for a coach like Dion.

He is better at recruiting certain players.

It's a Nebraska message board. You people act like we should be in active hate against our team 24/7.

If being a Nebraska fan isn't good enough for you, Colorado could use some help in their cheering section.

To be fair though, colorado did win there first game Nebraska didnt.  Like they havent won there first dam game in like 4 years.

Hot damn, have some faith and confidence ppl. Pumped what Deion did today, now we have an even bigger stage and opportunity to seize next week.

That TCU game looked exactly like a sonny dykes cal game- zero defense, baffling string of plays and sloppy as hell.  It’s imperative we establish the run game early and often. Defensively we’ll have our hands full but our secondary is the strength of our defense, let’s f’n back that up l.

    Are you really that confident.
