Let’s just say I may no longer be in the media, but that doesn’t mean I lost all the connections I had.
I like where your heads at. The suspense is killing me!

I'm with @Husker from Kansas to an extent. If not Frost, Beliema would be on my short list (probably at the bottom of it). He's a proven winner in the B1G, and his style of ball works in this conference. Whether you like him or not, he took the Wisconsin "thing" to another level. Again, I'd have a few guys ahead of him, but I think it could work here.
Did he really do that well at Wisconsin? Seems like to me it doesn’t matter who the coach is. I think Alvarez is the real reason.

I have not changed my stance on anything yet. Not sure why everyone has filled with doubt when a couple people started trolling the thread folks. Have a very happy thanksgiving and enjoy time with your family and friends.
I think we are still in the “hopes are up, but will be disappointed” mindset and just don’t want to be let down again. Truely appreciate your posts.

The National Media has always hated us. Even in the 90s. If Scott Frost isn’t hired and Moos gets a great coach, the fan base will unite. If Mike Riley improved every year and made us competitive, he would have (guessing he is gone tomorrow) got a lot more time. Instead, we have regressed. I do believe we have the atheletes in a lot of areas and could be competitive right now in the BIG.

Where is Hedley to pump us up...

I went to the UFC board and am disappointed in some of our fans trolling them. I believe we already have Frost lined up! I hope they don’t get Kiffin, he’s a tool!

All super solid coaches. I wonder what would happen to Frost let alone some of the fans who would be blinded by him if we hooked a Patterson or Stoops.
I think the everyone wants Frost as their first choice, but would be happy if it a big name. We just want some to get us competitive again

Maybe, just maybe, Riley helped paved the way for Nebraska to be great again. Not that any of us were happy about the performance on the field, but maybe there is a silver lining. We were able to witness Scott Frost as a head coach during this time. If Frost is hired, the fan base will unite and give him the time he needs to build the program back to the top. I think we will appreciate him more now than ever.

Decision is likely already made, don't think there will be an announcement until after the Iowa game.
I think you are right. My gut says they have been working a replacement for a while and they will let the season play out. I don’t believe Florida has benifitted from the early firing. If anything, I think it hurt them.

Seriously... I’m currently serving my country and would like to enlighten both of you about the military. For the past six months I have barely been home. I started with aviation training to help rescue civilians incase of a natural or man made disaster took place in the United States. After I returned, I was called up to help during Hurricane Irma in Florida. I recently returned home from a transportation mission. None of these involved weapons of any sort. The majority of service members don’t want to go to war. We signed the dotted line and will follow orders. We have a volunteer force and the services have to recruit. I can tell you if someone trys to harm innocent people around me, I will tell my wife and children I love them and then would try to stop them. Would you? I love my country and state. GBR

Is there a way to tag people after posts like this to just ignore everything they say in future threads?
Ouch. Really, you want to ignore me because of what I posted? I was just relaying info I heard and wanted feedback.

Yeah let's use a slogan that is similar to the idiotic Trump campaign and his joke of a presidency revolving around racism etc. I am sure that will really bring us in some top notch recruits from high populated areas around the nation. You're a genius (sarcasm) .
Tell us how you really feel about the President of the United States... The slogan was a joke, settle down.

I have a buddy who played for Campbell at Toledo. He said Campbell was a total weirdo. Like Campbell would text or call his players at 5 am to make sure they were gong to work out. I guess a total control freak. But I think that sounds better than a coach who lets his players do whatever the hell they want cough cough Riley
I’m praying my friend is wrong and we get Frost.

Youre not really seeing his wife are you? Because that's a fairly serious reaction to an obvious joke. Asking for a friend.
Obviously it was a joke, just wrote by a 12 year old or an adult that still lives with his parents.

I think he might know football as well if not better than a lot of coaches, however, that doesn’t make him a motivater. Seems to me the great coaches know Xs/Os and can motivate players to run through a brick wall for them. Coach Riley just couldn’t get them to that point.
