It would be nice to see maybe one or two defensive players in position to make a play in the second half. I don't think it will happen

Worst coached football team in college football. Why would you ever, ever, ever allow your players to get close to the punter in that situation? You have a defense that is not only horrible, but losing guys to injury left and right. You just magically got a 3 and out. You have shown you can move the ball If you just set up a return, you have a chance to run a 3 minute drill and end the half with the football. Maybe even put some points on the board. But instead you have a player going for the block when even a 5 yard penalty gives Iowa the ball to end the half against your horrible MASH unit defense. On top of failing to teach proper technique to these kids, this is yet another example of how this coaching staff is completely clueless when it comes to game management.

And let's not forget that those 9 wins were against a bunch of crappy teams.
