I wouldn't say 'no reason' I would say not a good reason. He went after Gobert when Gobert was wrapping up Klay. There's a bit of an unwritten rule, you pull away your teammate, not the other team's player. Kinda the rule like I can beat up my brother, but you try and you'll have to deal with me.  Then if you watch, you'll see Gobert, because he's taller, appear to start grabbing around the head/shoulder area of Klay and was in the process of changing his grip when Dray went full on Hulk Hogan on him. Dray was 100% out of line, I see why he reacted the way he did as Gobert was breaking up the situation the wrong way.

I'm curious, as he's a repeat offender, what his suspension will be. Silver seems to be wildly inconsistent when he doles out punishments. I'm setting the O/U at 7 games.

Silver is soft with punishment. My guess is 3-5 games

No but the amount of love you are giving the guy is starting to make me think he has something on you.

Seriously I don’t really understand the hate on Satterfield who hasn’t been here a year with no QBs and this OL. Yes he made some bad play calls but this idea that we can just run the ball with guaranteed excellent results is fools gold. Raiola’s OL has been the weak link.  It was weird we kept him due to some mancrush on his nephew.

So I say jettison them both because our offense is horrible. I think it’s more a Raiola problem and others think it is more a Satterfield problem. A&M snd Penn St. just let go of coaches better than ours so this is small peanuts for demanding better results and I would welcome upgrades at both our OL and OC. If you think coaching is the problem then name names to upgrade.

I tend to lean we have talent issues and lack of player depth as more of a problem than the coaching staff right now. But the amount of fire him now in other threads was too much. Ok fire him, but who do we get? I put some names out there. The schedule is only getting tougher.

Does Satterfield make some bad play calls yes. It is also hard to judge what he can really do cause we have no QBs and they turn the ball over so much. Not saying he is good, but they have had some really bad luck with injuries on offense. 2 of our top 3 rbs got hurt. Washington out and Kemp has been out at times as well. Is the offensive line great? No. But they have shown signs of improvement especially in the run game. Still a lot of work to do but hopefully they can add a couple guys to get better on the line going forward. If we had an average QB they would be at least 7-3 right now. Just need a QB that can pass the ball to our guys and scramble to get yards when needed.

Big props to Coach White and the defense. They performed over my expectations this season and had us in most every game. A key piece to the rebuild was bringing back the Blackshirts. We must have an identity on defense and they have performed exceptionally.

The rest of the season has been a let down. The offense has cost us wins the defense secured multiple times including today.

This offseason will be Rhule’s big test. Make bold aggressive changes or he’ll be on hot seat in a couple more years. Do you see who is coming to the BIG? Those teams all kill us by 20+ if we play them today.

The offense needs a complete overhaul. Coaches, players it’s all bad.  We need an identity.  It has to be rebuilt from the inside out with new QBs and OL. The skill players like Coleman are getting manhandled out there. There’s no poise, rhythm, every throw is a circus because every play starts with QB and OL. Every run fighting for yards and fumbles. There are no explosive big plays.  Offense is like watching a bad car trying to get going, it sputters but it is always on the verge of a complete breakdown.

Use our vaunted NIL, which I suspect is overhyped. I will gladly eat crow if I am wrong but I don’t see it.  Tired of pulling 3 stars out of local schools. This is not working nor will it work in future. When are we pulling 4 or 5 stars from other states?

I didn’t have us winning today and think next week will be ugly.  It comes down to a close game vs Iowa. It has to be this way for us.  But I’m largely moving on from this season. We’ve seen a lot of all the QBs this year and we are going nowhere with any of them. Sure I’d take a bowl game but we know what we have. Securing key players and coaches for the future is more important after the meltdowns we have experienced last 2 weeks. We played the games and just are not at the level of of our opponents right now, which is scary because it is only going to get tougher. Rhule is in charge of fixing that going forward.

Wisconsin is down 14-3 to Northwestern right now. Their offense isn't great either. Defense will have to make plays and hope the offense doesn't turn the ball over too much, but they got a chance next week

And how many points are we scoring these days? The OL is a huge problem and to fail to recognize that will lead to more crapfest football games.

Hard to score when your qbs are dropping the ball or throwing it to the other team every time you blink

I think these max contracts have changed the game. Too many teams have to work with really small windows.

Clippers, Warriors, Suns, and Lakers are definitely in win it all now mode, and all four will be pretty sad if the Nuggets repeat and they have to rethink their massive outlay of money. They will get anxious in Dallas, too, if there's not a serious run. Denver can enjoy itself for exactly one more season. The Celtics probably have to win the whole thing, too, and will have to commit nearly half a billion dollars to just two players, Tatum and Brown. Millwaukee has had a couple exits almostr as awkward as the Suns, and has no excuse with Lillard on the team (I actually like their chances). It feels like the 76ers will never quite pull it off with Joel Embid.

The fun part is that none of these teams can sleep on the rest of the league. There's great talent top to bottom.

Denver has all their main pieces locked up for the next 2-3 years. And Murray's extension won't be super max cause he won't meet the game requirement to make all nba this season cause of his injury. As long as Denver has Jokic they will have a championship window. Obviously won't win every year. But will be competing every year. Teams on the rise like OKC and eventually the Spurs when they get more players around Wemby will make it really fun. A Giannis Jokic or Embiid Jokic Final would be great this year.

Being cautious with Murray is a smart move.  They definitely will miss him, and will probably drop a few more than they would normally.

They will be fine. Going to be like his 1st MVP season where Jokic had to carry hard to get a win. If they go like 7-3 over the next 10 or so games without him Murray that will be good. Just need everyone healthy for the playoffs. Hopefully MPJ keeps playing like he has the past few games. Rookies and young guys need to lock in every night. Strawther was bad on defense last night. All I know is that Gillespie is not it. Either go big with the bench and go no back up point guard or give the rookie Pickett a shot until Murray gets back.
