I'm fine it you think the word "many" should be taken out of the quote.  It is a small minority.  However, the rest of the quote is spot on.  It is unlawful, unacceptable and scary.

If the Dems want to gain power, they need to resoundly condemn these actions by the minority in their group.

Problem is, when these idiots act out like this, it's then easy for the other side to paint the entire Democratic party as angry crazy people.

Easy for you to say.  Your entire existence and ability to have rights and protections under the law isn't being questioned and there is no court case pending to erase you from existence.

It must be so nice to have such a cavalier attitude towards Trump's policies, because you know the religious discrimination and bigotry his administration is putting in place will never affect you.

And yes, you better believe that this sh** is VERY personal to me because I am in the demographic that is being erased from existence.

I don’t think anyone has any idea who did it or what their motive(s) were at this point.

But everyone should feel free to jump to conclusions and believe whatever is politically beneficial, regardless of the lack of evidence, They call that Christine Blasey Ford Syndrome.

And being a blind follower who defends Trump at all costs, blames Obama, Hillary, and all the Dems/Libs for all of Trump's problems and legal troubles is called MAGAtard Syndrome.

Actually, that....and.....the actions of the minority who act like this hurt the party as a whole because it's easy for the other side to paint with a wide brush.

Again...I didn't read the entire article.  Honestly, I have no clue even who said this and really don't care.

But, angrily confronting politicians like what has been done  (Ted Cruz in the restaurant for an example) is unacceptable and should be shunned by everyone.

How do I say this nicely?  F that noise.  Every time you see a right-wing, nazi, trump-bot out...harrass them, disrupt them, make them feel as uncomfortable, as unwelcome, and as hated as they treat all of us "undesriables."

Being nice, and being civil is a luxury I can no longer afford.  This administration is swiftly pushing their hateful, extremely anti-LBGTQIA agenda.

    I just wish I could...

There's a time and place for violence, we are far from that time and place. At this point in time much more can be accomplished peacefully through protests and votes.

Honestly, I am not so sure about that.  This administration has proven countless times they don't give a damn about anyone not rich, white, hetero, "christian".  This administration doesn't care about, and will never listen to, anyone who doesn't look like they do and have their same beliefs.

And for what it is worth, Rhode Island is actually the smallest state--if you're worried about maintaining your retentiveness.

I can’t believe the weak mentality so many of us have. Someone made this comment a couple weeks ago recruiting, I didn’t believe it. But they were right. One of these steps for our fan base is to stop thinking everything is so damn impossible.

It might be "seeing it as impossible" (on winning in Columbus against OSU).

But it is also acknowledging that right now many people, myself included, just don't think the Huskers are where they need to be, mentally, physically, or from a talent/depth perspective to win.  I think we'll get there, but we're not there yet.  If I am wrong, so be it...but I need to actually see us play well in a big game, on the big stage, before I can have any real confidence.  In case you have forgotten, Ohio State put 56 on us last season and 62 in 2016.  In other words, we (as Nebraska fans) have good reasons to be worried about getting bent over and shown the fifty states.

Riley's offense might work overall (in some years), but it doesn't work well in the straight, RB run-game.  That is my point.  His o-line coach preached pass protection over run-blocking, Riley prefers not having his QB involved in the run game, and Riley/Langsdorf never really committed to calling run-plays when the team fell behind or the team had limited success running the ball early in the game.  With Frost and his scheme, he is committed to the run game (even when behind), he utilizes a mobile QB to make teams play 11 on 11, and the pass game complements his run game.

To be clear, Mike Riley's WCO is a version where running the ball is an after-thought at best.

  8. I went with Ozigbo only.  Not because I don't think both can do it, but because Adrian Martinez only has about 5 or so called runs per game.  Most of his biggest runs were on pass plays where everyone was covered and he just took off.  I think going forward AM will only run when necessary.  He's a dual threat to be sure, but he's always keeping his eyes downfield to try and find an open receiver.

And as others have said, I think going forward most teams we play will either play a contain or spy scheme which could make getting ~100 ypg kinda difficult--especially with teams like Ohio State, Iowa, and Michigan State (who are all traditionally stout against the run).

  9. I know every "school" in the $EC is totally for this because they're all paying their players right now--it's just under the table.  ;)

I have been on the side of pay the players since I first had an opinion on it and my opinion has not changed.  Like @Mavric though, I am not sure what the number is and admittedly this could get very, very, messy.  One question I have: Are all scholarship football players going to be paid the same amount?  Because in a true free market, the better players theoretically should earn more than the benchwarmers, right?  Making an All-American or All-Conference team should earn you more than just being a regular player, right?

I think maybe instead of out-right paying players, maybe allow them to charge appearance fees and charge money to sign footballs, hats, jerseys, etc.

I think paying players more than they are now is going to happen.  How that affects conferences and realignment...

    :dunno

AM has lived up to the all the hype that came with him and exceeded it so far IMHO. And is great addition to the school and team.

I look forward to another 3 1/2 years with him at the helm.

The thing that has probably surprised me the most is his ability to throw deep. Man, does he deliver a beautiful ball when he has time. We've had so many QB's in the past years who would have a wide open receiver downfield and under throw, over throw or just plain miss them. AM more times than not just hit them in stride.

What is even more impressive is that Adrian Martinez can also throw really catchable passes on the shorter routes.

That's how you blow a team out though. You pound, pound, pound...and then play action over the top to suck the life out of 'em.

Scoring 50+ in conference games will be a regular thing in the Scott Frost era, maybe even as soon as next season. Martinez is unreal.

You know what I like best about AM?  It is that finally we have a 4* rated player actually playing to, and possibly above, his ranking.  We've had several 4* rated QBs in the past 8-9 years and really none of them even came close to living up to the hype.

Only lose Foster and Farmer on the OL. I think Mills steps in next year and gets a good amount of carries. My biggest worry is probably safety. We’ll lose Williams, Reed, and Neal.

No, Cole Conrad is a senior this year and won't be back for 2019.

We lose most of the OL, Ozigbo and Morgan. What other losses will hurt? What redshirts will produce?

I think the OL will be better with Jurgens at OC.  I think another year of S&C will continue to develop these young players.

Washington is going to the #1 guy at RB next year with (the RB from New Jersey) pushing for playing time as a true freshman.

Travis McGriff, by all accounts, is going to be an absolute match-up nightmare at the WR spot.  Frost has talked about possibly McGriff moving down into a TE position.

The defensive front seven should be much much better, should have more depth, especially at LB.  I think Honas is going to be a stud.  He showed some excellent flashes before he got hurt.  Breon Dixon should have a break out year.  Caleb Tannor showed great potential.  And, Mohammed Barry is going to be a senior.

Honestly, if this team keeps getting...next year is going to be amazing as the culture that Coach Frost has installed is finally taking shape.  We still got a long way to go, but we're getting there.

We had the ball for less than five minutes in the first quarter but were ahead 14-0

We held the ball for over 11.5 minutes in the fourth quarter.

Stat of the game right there.

Wasn't it against Colorado where if Frost and offense would have slowed down with like 5 minutes left in the 4th Q and bled the clock they probably could have won?  If not Colorado, what game was that?  Regardless, it was refreshing to see Nebraska actually come as close to using the max play clock late in the game.  Of course that only works if a team is able to move the chains and get 1st downs.  Otherwise they get accused of going "turtle."

I'm not convinced of that, never have been.  I like some things that he does, but I don't see high-level football coaching going on.  I think he's a heck of a life coach, though.

Yeah you guys should fire him and bring in someone new.  It is statistically proven that changing coaching staffs every 3-4 years is good for a program.

    We can beat Ohio State.

Ummmm...not saying you're wrong, per se, but I think the odds of that happening are probably less than 15%.  So while yeah, technically there's a chance, it's not high.

In truth, all I want to see from Nebraska against Ohio State is play tough and just don't beat yourself with penalties and turnovers.

Everybody always wants one or both of the coordinators fired. It's like the backup quarterback phenomenon, new things must always be better, right? Right?

You know what we haven't had here in 20 years? Stability. Staff continuity. Maybe let's try that again for more than 6 weeks and see how it goes eh?

    The bolded...Exactly!!!!

You take your unreasonable opinions and get out.

Yeah let's bring in a 5th DC in 6 years and start the learning curve all over again.

Ok....I must've checked in after that. Chinander don't seem the greatest right now, but nobody has been very special in that job for about 18 years.

I want to make one thing clear...I am NOT saying these coaches are above criticism.  Criticize away.  But whatever criticisms someone has, should be grounded in facts and reality.

Here is the way I look at the Neb v Minn game:

    1. Nebraska punched Minnesota, knocked the Gophers down, and got up 28 points.

    2. The Gophers got up, and punched back behind their #2 QB (who was a baller and made some really terrific plays for them).

    3. The Huskers weathered that storm, and came back with several haymakers of their own, and finally delivered a knock-out punch.

I mean cripes, Purdue just put 49 points and ~550 yards of offense against Ohio State.  I think we're all in agreement that talent wise, Ohio State is where we want Nebraska to be.  And if an offense can put up those kinds of numbers against an excellent defense with elite talent like Ohio State's, then yeah...we're going to have games where we give up yards and points also.  That's just the nature of college football.
