  1. I was in the North Stadium for LA Tech, expect to wait a while if you are going in at gate 14. It took me about 30 mins just to get through security, and then probably about another 10-15 mins to make my way through the people and to my seats, which were row 70 something. So expect to be there 40-45 mins minimum before the game. There is always something going on around the stadium to see so it's not a total waste if you are there at around 2 am! With all that being said I don't know if the crowd will be the same since it's Nichols state and not the first game. As for the binoculars, I didn't need them. Parking is not my thing, I just park where ever there is room. The main thing is to wear red and be loud.
  2. yeah you use bluetooth or a cable. For me I simply send a file via bluetooth to my phone. If you have bluetooth phone its very simple. Check to see if your phone is capable of doing this or not.
  3. I like Lucky's limp wrist in the pic on the right!
  4. I just got a new cell phone and started designing wallpaper for it figured I'd upload one and continue to as I make them. Feel free to use them for you own.
  5. I'm puzzled? Do you have norton(sp?) anti-virus or any other anti-virus software software installed? If so these could mess your mac up more than a virus. I would uninstall or disable them, and then try again. You might have better luck using the flip4mac plug-in. I've used Windows Media to watch several volleyball games with no problems. Could be a busy server or something like that.
  6. what iMac? Intel or PowerPC? Problem: If you are running an Intel iMac Windows Media Player is running under Rosetta, Apple's emulation software, because of their processor change and that Windows Media Player still hasn't been updated, at least to my knowledge (did a real quick check and found nothing). Solution: I would find a "Universal Binary" Windows Media Player like flip4mac or VLC. here is a link to download VLC for intel http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-macosx.html Link to flip4mac http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm I would have to endorse flip4mac. I personally use it a lot in my editing jobs. It basically is a plug-in that installs itself into quicktime and all WMV files are opened within quicktime. It's pretty slick. If Husker-N-Side is encrypted using Microsofts DRM then it becomes a little more sticky. Obviously before trying these, become familiar with what you are actually putting on your computer. Let me know if you have any problems.
  7. are you talking about the video downloader for Firefox? the instructions are on the download page for you to review, but it creates a little icon at the bottom of the browser for you to click on to start downloading. check this too. http://videodownloader.net/help/vd04.htm
  8. All right I get to spend my saturday with Jim Rose. "Lucky carries the ball, break lose! He's to the 50!...40!...30!...20! Finally brought down for a two yard gain!"
  9. Did you look here?try this topic May have what you are looking for.
  10. beats me. if you are using firefox try this: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/ People have used this to download the Alamo Bowl video off of my site, so I assume it works OK.
  11. I smell material for a brand new husker video! I can't wait to start work on a new one.
  12. two hours shouldn't be too bad. especially if your original media is only 700MBs. your bit rate should be around 4-5 and you should be set to burn. *ignore below if above works* If you can't change nero I would try to convert the video using a, you guessed it, video convertor (like Quicktime Pro, $30). Use these settings: Export to MPEG2 Target Bit Rate 4.5 Maximum Bit Rate 5 Motion Estimation Best One Pass Variable Bit Rate good luck!
  13. how long are the videos/movies? If they exceed 1 1/2 hrs then you'll need to do some compression. not to go too deep but nero is going to have to re-encode the video to an MPEG (which is the DVD Video standard) and in doing so most likely exceeds the DVD limit. If you can change the "BIT RATE" in your software that should do it. Below is a link to calculate what bit rate you'll need by just entering your total time. http://www.videohelp.com/calc.htm Hope this works for you. Oh yeah if you have a menu, that will effect the amount of space that is available too.
  14. Easy, get a MAC! I'm assuming you are running Micro$oft Window$ Try AVID Free DV It should have more control than Window$ Movie Maker. Just fill everything out and away you go. http://www.avid.com/freedv/ Pinnacle is easy to use and CHEAP, $50. Not cheaper than free but still cheap. http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/P...io+version+10_5
  15. In an attempt to answer the, "how'd you do that?" question. In Photoshop try using gradient overlays (looks like radial) on the bars or create a square with the correct gradient and using the free transform tool change the Y scale (smoosh it). The text use a combination of creative erasing(Google "grunge brushes", load them in Photoshop, use them as erasers and have fun.) and the liquify effect to achieve the text. Or search for a cracked or broken font, maybe easier but less control.
