  1. Obviously a long way to go for the kid but yea best QB talent we've had here at least since the turn of the century. We are talking about top 5 pick potential realistically if everything pans out in the best way possible

Training with Mahomes doesn't hurt. How many guys does Mahomes do that with?

  2. I doubt we will see this but I think it would be awesome to make the spring game the spring league championship. Top 2 teams get to draft the players from the 3rd team and winner takes all for the spring league. Could be the start of fun tradition but it may not be feasible to do something like that

Jurgens is going to end up being a far better pro player than he ever was in college. He was learning on the fly how to be a center his whole college career and while he did get the hang of it towards the end its clear his time with Jason Kelce has brought his game to a completely different level. He will be a really good one for years to come.

The lower tier bowls being not cared about is nothing new, and doesn't change here. Nice for the school's fans but that's it. The major bowls were always the goal.

Never understood the bowls will mean nothing argument. When did they mean anything to begin with? Exhibition games to put on during the holidays when you are home all day with family

I just hope they stop trying to please the fans by reminiscing about the olden days and start trying to please the fans by putting together the best offense for today. There's a time and place for our old running game but it's obviously not Satterfield's bag...nor apparently 99% of other modern coaches.

I mean Michigan just won a natty with 140 passing yards to 303 rushing yards:dunno

I think this has already been debunked right?  Quite a few confirmations yesterday dan lanning was seen in Eugene at a movie theatre with his wife lol.... college football hysteria at its finest... remember when we all thought the Sweater was gonna be our coach in 2014?  good times good times

It's just crazy to think about the power shift that could be taking place coach wise. Saban retires, Smart and Harbaugh go NFL all of the sudden there is a vacuum as far as top coach in the country goes.

  7. Alabama is in for a down era I think. SEC will have more competition, and without Saban the Tide just don't strike the fear in opponents. LSU, Ole Miss, Texas and Oklahoma will look to fill the void left by Saban.

  8. 15-0 national champions rolling every team by 3 scores or more while DR wins the Heisman. Matt Rhule begins his path to eclipsing Osbornes greatness and is soon recognized as the greatest coach of all time and a Husker legend. Raiola wins 3 Heismans and proceeds to get drafted 1st overall by the Chicago Bears where he restores that franchise to former glory as well winning 4 super bowls in his HOF career. Seems reasonable to me

Yeah...let's just hope that this year wasn't a fluke.  Now, programs have film of what he likes to do on defense and will be working in the off season to beat it.  Hope he's good at countering that.

Luckily gang tackling and physicality is tough to counter. As is pressure on the QB. That is what stood out to me about this defense

  10. Best defense we have had in over 10 years by a wide margin. I get this season was painful and our offense was atrocious but frankly I saw more hope this season that we could actually be good than I have in a long time. We are a QB away from being an 8 win team just because of the defense. I want to see what we can do next season

Hate that we fumble so much but we are winning in spite of it and the coaches are actually taking responsibility here. Let's try something different for this problem since the solutions we had before aren't working. Gotta stay with the process through good and bad but never a bad idea to tweak things here and there.
