There are certainly bad actors out there using them for nefarious things - but one has to question if there are more bad things happening or if there are just more people able to document and report them.  I'd bet on the later.

Agreed, every coin has a flip side.  

Cell phones have become the most widely used, readily available weapon there is.  It boggles my mind how damaging they can be to peoples lives.
