I am predicting it won't take multiple pick 6's to get a replacement on the field.
Lee won't start.

Won't it be hilarious if Lee is our starting QB next year? I think personally that Frost could do well adapting to even players that aren't ideal to his system. He is obviously going to recruit dual threat guys but I wouldn't count out the ones on this roster.
Lee won't start next year, IMO. He's not Mobil enough and he throws to many picks. I'd like to get a better look at Gebbia.

Hats off to Moos for being so calm in the middle of a s*&t storm here at Nebraska. He chose to lead this program in a reassuring, calm, and decisive manner and we, for once, got our #1 target for head coach here and Nebraska. We came out of this entire situation making the best coaching hire next to UCLA with Chip Kelly. Chip is a good coach, but Frost was the coach we wanted/needed here at Nebraska. There was no drama, no real leaks, what a fantastic coaching search process. I'm not afraid to admit that a tear formed in the corner of my eye when it became official. I could finally relax and know our beloved Huskers are in very great and capable hands now. Fantastic job Moos, you just possibly made yourself a legend at Nebraska if this turns out the way we all think it will.
Agree on all this, plus the university finally opened the checkbook and payed out the coin to get this done. Well played Mr. Moos.

I'm really happy Scott Frost is coming home. But man, scrolling down through the tweets, I came across this:
@TheK_Williams, from Kieron Williams, who tweeted: "Glad my bros got a coach that cares about winning and his players."
Ouch

Here is one reason he got fired: If Nebraska had missed one kick at Purdue, we would be winless since September. Just wow.
Agreed. Look closely at the wins.

My initial thought was that maybe the suits thought he was getting a little too.... outspoken. Not that it bothered me.
Didn't bother me either, I think Davison was having a rough time watching this disaster of a season unfold, like we all were. You could tell during the broadcasts he was having issues holding back.

They’re talking about going after Leach now.
I wouldn’t touch that campus with a hundred foot pole. It’s a very toxic environment.
Sounds like they want some Gruden-like hire that they’re not gonna get.
They can have Leach.

Schiano not going to Tennessee, campus protests ? Wow.

Still wearing his Husker gear...
In a post about a month ago I said something about "Riley should just pack up his stuff, put it in his prius, and head out". I honestly had no clue he actually drove a prius.

Am I the only one who does not want this version of the Huskers to play in a bowl game? Normally an extra game has benefits like additional practice time, game experience, etc. I don't see where those things would do the program any good at this point. The quicker this current staff quits influencing these players the better IMO. It's time for a hard reset when the new coach comes in. Until then, I just hope for as little damage as possible.
I bet a lot of fans just want this nightmare of a season to end.

This might be a bloodbath...............
Nebraska wins in a blowout, confusion sets in across husker nation, some pleased, some oddly upset. Huskerboard crashes...........or maybe not.

There is no reasonable reason we should get his logic, the strain in reading it was spectacular, right ?

I'm all for giving a coach time too. I liked what he was building on the recruiting side, and I liked the promising way the offense was leaning before this season started.
However, it's year 3. The QB we needed for this system to work basically has played from terrible to okay now which is not good enough. We lost to a MAC team at home, not good enough. We got blown out at home twice in 2 weeks in conference play, not...good...enough. We almost have a losing record VS Purdue, not ...... good..............enough. We haven't beaten Iowa since we fired Pelini.........do I need to say it?
Rileys.............gotta..............go.

I don't get it either. Finebaum thinks it's a bad idea as well. Jeesh.
