Teddy P. is #58, FWIW
It's still early but Teddy at #58, Fidone #60, and Dickerson the #3 overall CB per 247 as early commits is looking promising for a run at a top 10 class. All we would need is to have a solid season of ~7-8 wins and this recruiting class might be one for the books.

Shot up 144 spots to the #60 overall player in the country per Rivals.

Wow these results are way better then I remember them being. Nothing much more to say because people on the 1st page already summed it up pretty well and I think everyone has the same general agreement.

It’s so amazing to me how far and fast Frost has fallen out of favor with so many who were practically idol worshipping him when he was hired. Even thru the disasterous first six game of year one, the devotion and almost blind loyalty was there.
Now the tide seems to be flowing the other way as great expectations are morphing into perennial mediocrity / losing seasons and a defeatism etc. All this just as the Frost recruited players are hitting the field with the time to develop and learn the system.
So many didn’t recognize the talent and effort and coaching issues of the past 2 decades. Now they have no patience to give Frost time to resurrect things and basically believe it can’t be done by anyone.
If I had my druthers Frost would install a good basic power run package of 25 plays a game to go with his spread passing stuff. But I am happy with most of the progress Frost has made (except the lack of success in special teams mainly).
I am a die hard Husker for life but I feel the changes are happening but haven’t quite become evident in the wins column. Tougher schedule - maybe so the last few games - but we should finally see a mostly Scott Frost team. Better times are coming - not all smooth sailing at times but- winning is going to be the norm starting this fall. This exactly. I was super excited for the Frost hire and still am so happy he's our head coach. The people who are turning on him already piss me off. It's like they want us to be stuck with a s#!tty football team for life. Our 2017 class had basically ONE solid contributor: Brenden Jaimes. That's it... ONE. We basically put sanctions on ourselves with how s#!tty that recruiting class was. It takes several years to rebuild a roster after missing so bad on half of a recruiting class let alone an ENTIRE recruiting class (plus Frosts first class is falling apart a bit with Washington, Hunt, and Legrone along with several transfers like Cam Jones but still not as bad as 2017). We are slowly building up. I expect to be a 7-8 win team after year 4 under Frost. It might take a few more years (3-4) ontop of that to get to be an uber competitive team because of the roster we have built to become a 10+ win team and in playoff conversations occasionally. I expect by year 8 we will be super competitive, even though I don't want to wait that long, it's what I have to accept instead of being excited for new head coaches just to get let down time and time again.

Why go to college at all? Go get paid. I know kids have to be three years out of high school for NFL, but maybe they can go the semi-pro route and get a little jangle while they age up. Let’s see those teams provide the a showcase venue like the colleges do
semi pro does not get the same exposure to get you into the top rounds of the nfl draft

I remember being excited about Rafdal.
I wasn't as excited about him as I am Fidone. He's gonna be a monster

Thinks this ones a done deal according to the rumblings, though we have heard that before with Mickey so take it with a grain of salt

Lewis is a really interesting recruit. He sure seems like he is already doing peer recruiting for us.
Kinda seems like... dare I say it... Bookie during that whole run when he was recruiting for us while being a silent commit.

I have had a feeling for awhile that this will be our 2021 QB. We always have one QB commit each year and since Garcia and Dematrius Davis are no longer in consideration, this is our only other option (although still a good option)
-
Lamar Jackson is 100% a lock to be drafted this year at some point somewhere. Anyone else being picked up will be a surprise. Khalil Davis, Darrion Daniels, and Mo Barry will all get looks and might get lucky going in round 6 or 7

Ehh I wouldn't say that. First off, this is a 2003 ranking which obviously recruiting services are much more advanced in the scouting stages than in 2003. Most of the highly rated recruits only don't pan out because of disciplinary reasons or academics, not always because of skill (maybe QB's more so then any other position). There are still hidden gems that fly under the radar but that's because there are players in states not heavily scouted that also don't attend camps to get evaluated leading to these types of players

Why is Pickering getting processed?
Well we have that club soccer guy and one other dude who we just got so maybe he ends up getting passed up on the depth chart. Unlikely though

Any guesses on the last player who will be processed/transfer? McQuitty and Pickering come to mind for me

I'm so done with Scott Frost. Just added to my list, "Lack of coach loyalty," and "Lack of consistency with assistant coach." The list also includes:
- No fullbacks on the roster
- Too many sideways passes
- Not starting McCaffrey
Call me when the new head coach is announced.
(do I need a sarcasm tag?)
Am I on Twitter right now?

I'll take all of the Miami players please. Even if they don't pan out we get to see Hurricanes boards melting down and it's great stuff

All I know is, as long as we aren't losing Fisher or Held I'm pretty much okay with it as long as we get solid hires. Beckton was probably our 3rd best recruiter though helping us get deeper into Florida and Georgia recruiting but I think we'll be fine without him now that we have pipelines into Miami and Grayson, Georgia.

This was unexpected so soon. A pleasant surprise none the less, one of my early top prospects on my personal 2021 big board. Next up on my watch list: Fidone, Dickerson, and Bollers

I’m excited about the future and the pipeline in a way that’s hard to put into words. Nebraska is going to have serious length at tackle and you aren’t stopping the Chase Youngs of the world without it.
To be fair no one can stop Chase Young no matter how good of an oline you have unless you double/triple team

I got banned on /r/cfb because I called the Buffaloes a stepping stone program after this happened. Everyone was sucking up to the buffs so I had to bring them back down to earth and troll them a bit while they were super salty. Worth it.
