I drink the kool-aid every summer too! Only to get brought back to reality. It goes all the way back to Steve Pederson stating we will not be mediocre.  What have we been since. If you think something is wrong with the program you get labeled as not a true fan, whiner

etc. Some of us remember how the huskers used to play..win or lose.  Thats what some of us want to see again. Even close to that. Hip hip hooray , you tried hard is what you tell a 5 year old. Not eveyone deserves a medal. I will always cheer for the huskers and be glad when they win. But marco has good points. Enough rambling for now.. Cuz I already know the backlash  I'll get over this.   4 ever.

We are the  CORNHUSKERS. Have been referred to as children of the corn. The AD should be embracing it.  IMO. Do they want to change our name. Would they feel better if we were called the snowflakes.

If he is a junior he is only going into his 3rd year of high school. Maybe I'm wrong.

I understand wishing he was able to be a part of the team, but I can't agree with "WE blew it".

we blew it because we let an elite level player go when we had a DT signee battling academic/qualification issues as well as the fact that Bishop Dunne produces many high level FBS prospects on an annual basis and his recruitment would've assisted in landing our other targets in future classes from the school.

 

You can't ever have enough big time players on the defensive and offensive lines. Avery has the skill set and frame to develop into one of those special players. Prematurely "cooling" on him based off of your numbers in April is, in my opinion, blowing it. Especially when he seemed to be a heavy NU lean.

He will probably be gone before our coaches decide if they actually want him or not.

My first post here, but i m pretty sure he is ours Not worried. Hopefully he can bring some more big recruits with him.
