Thats understood. Makes me wonder where this program would be if Tim Miles' team had beaten Baylor in the tourney. Lifetime contract I guess.

But he didn’t. So he fell short like everyone else. Not saying a lifetime contract but it buys him a long damn time. If he does something no one has been able to do in like 130 years of basketball why would we think we could find someone else better

Just looking at aTm the last 5 years.

    2020 King 4 star .95

    2021 Stowers 4 star .94

    2022 Weigman 5 star .98

    2023 Reed 4 star .90

    2024 O'neill 3 star .87

I can't remember the last time Nebraska has had QB recruiting like this.

We did just land a 5 star and 4 star in the same class. I would think Dayton ends up a 5 star based on arm talent for 2026 class and I think we get him.

For Manske do we think he is better than he is rated? Looks like .86 3 star. Seems like aiming low or is he under rated?

I'm not that impressed with On3's ratings.  But, I would be interested in knowing what is different about how they rate players compared to other services and why they think their system is better.

They seemed way off on Raiola eval compared to other services. He floated as #1 or #2 overall recruit by most but ON3 had as 4 star.

A settlement that will set the bar for Miami and others to get out. And probably for less since FSU leaving devalues the conference. I wonder if ESPN and others  will renegotiate the contracts to keep it together or if they want the super conferences.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the SEC and BIG10 keep adding all the legit programs and those 2 conferences break off and for a new higher class of football that resembles NFL format.

I think Dayton has been a huge Husker fan his entire life. Wouldn't be surprised if he follows Dom and Dylan to Lincoln.

That would be phenomenal. Videos I have seen he has the same 5* talent as Dylan. If he has the same drive to succeed and mental ability we may be set for nearly a decade at QB

Ya, he was Dylan's backup. I kinda doubt he'll be at Buford next year.

I saw a video of him and Dylan training together with their QB coach. It looks like his arm talent is equal to Dylan.

  7. Do we know much about him as a prospect? There isn’t much info on him as far as evaluations or recruiting site rankings. I am sure some of that is he is playing behind his 5 star brother. Dylan was starting to rise as a sophomore and Dayton is going into junior year without much info. Was he 2nd team? Will he start this year? Just looking for any info on what kind of prospect he is.

  8. I would like to know how they dropped him during his senior season in which he had his best TD to int ratio of his career. Plus proved he could excel at his 3rd high school, 3rd coaching staff, 3rd playbook and new players with no chemistry. Amazing really. I would expect his rating to go up actually.

I'm aware, I'm responding to a poster who claimed Raiola was going to leave Nebraska as a Sophomore.

I'm trying to temper the sky high expectations Nebraska fans have and to not put so much pressure on this kid. Nebraska is a football team that can't field punts - let alone return them - so let's focus on the little things before we project that an 18 year old recruit revives the corpse of Nebraska Football.

Every good recruit we go after people on here are saying we only have for 3 years. Bookie comes to mind. I don’t think he even going pro period let alone early
