Love the praise, but what intangibles do we think he gauged by watching practice?
Command of the team. Knowing the offense. Leadership.

When you are Nebraska, you shouldn't have to ever play Friday games. I was pissed when I realized that Illinois was a Friday game. I was half thinking of going until seeing it was on a Friday.

I watched the Browns last night. Sterrup had a few good blocks but gave up a sack.

Is Yuengling available in Nebraska?

I saw Steven Jackson play in HS. I thought he ran too tall and just looked good because the competition was bad. I was wrong.

Sexual assault and domestic violence has been a problem in football for a while. It is good to have a voice, even if it makes some people uncomfortable.

This is interesting, who knew they handed out participation trophies that long ago?

The beauty of college football, you can argue about a lot of things...

He can go back to doing a bad job covering boxing. Screw ESPN, I only watch live sports there. Don't really care about what they think about anything. Started with Longhorn Network for me.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens. It may set a precedent for this issue with many schools.
-
I have thought about it as well. Waiting to see.

I think tOSU has been underperforming for the last few years. I think that Beck had a lot to do with the O not living up to the talent on it's roster. tOSU may run away with the East.

Is this OSU wr coach secret account on here?I am confused. Yes, Ohio State wanted Tyjon Lindsey and I am guessing they would have taken Cameron Brown but when did Brown "juked back from Ohio State to NU."? It is a great narrative but Brown never committed to OSU nor did he give any indication that he was going to pick OSU. One WR class does not make a trend. Especially when one of the three recruits from the class isn't even on campus anymore.
Calling yourself Receiver U is cute but it doesn't mean much if you aren't getting guys drafted.
I was actually thinking the same thing.

So what I hear McKewon saying is that Bo Pelini is about to be appointed White House Communications Director.
I chuckled.
-
TBH I am a "Move the damn ball," guy. But good QB play is key to the WR being successful.

"Richmond served close to a year in a juvenile detention center and was released in 2014 before returning to the Steubenville (Ohio) High School football team. As a Tier II sex offender, he will have to register every six months over the next two decades."
Not sure where the young man sits with the given info as far as a felon.

Needs to be QB U first! and run the damn ball!

So Crusader, do your points change at all if this wasn't publicly posted? I don't disagree with much of what you've said, but am curious about your comment around "be responsible - it's the age of social media". Is it worse that the act was made visible or is the act itself bad enough?
My intent was that you can't leave youthful indiscretion in your youth when you post it. So everybody understands, this is far beyond youthful indiscretion, this is awful. My point is that if stuff wasn't posted, it doesn't become national news. The act is bad enough itself. The point is without posting it he makes it easier to live an anonymous life.

I actually thought the same thing when I saw it.
