Pitt knocking on the door with a minute 30 left. This could get real interesting. UCF not looking like the team that beat Stanford last week.
Pitt defense looking like the Steel Curtain right now. Great win for them.
Wow, good job Pitt.

Making those FG kicks would seem like a win to me...
Turnovers are what usually kill us the most.
It's more against teams like Oklahoma, bama, clemson, LSU, where fg might lose you the game. Thankfully, we ve got a guy (hotrod) who's good from 60 yards out.

Feeling confident that Georgia will win tonight?
Yeah, I am. I love our oline and rbs. I only hope we dont do what we're known for. 1. Letting up at halftime and 2. Kicking field goals when we should be scoring TDs. I think even with that we win but I want it to be convincing.

Is she expecting to have any hush-hush phone calls with our President?! LOL
I dont know about that, and don't care. Only interested in watching the boys run the dang ball and drinking Empyrean Long Haul.

They were up 21-0 but let UCF get rolling before half. I expect UCF to win by 2 scores still
I spoke too soon.

Pitt's putting it to UCF.

Considering the offense only had two 3 and outs last week, maybe the offense is improving in that regard. However, don’t expect Frost to apologize for “scoring too quickly”.
Well, sure. Quickly scoring seven is the best outcome.

Moiraine is in eastern Europe and wont be joining us tonight. She sends her regards. Hopefully, the offense will sustain drives and stop hanging the defense out to dry.

They look like our d in some ways mind you last year. I mean they're still tough against the run for the most part but lots of guys making mental mistakes.
They have had the athletes but the rest is garbage. I don't know if its scheme or coaching, but they just never seem to gel.

Michigan does not look like a very well coached football team.
They are getting taken behind the woodshed. They cant run the ball or stop taylor.

It is a great gesture by the University, but it is hard to clear the stench of 10 terrible years. No program can have a bad AD and coaching hires.... UT did both 3 times, which is why they are so bad.
I was hoping y'all would beat Florida but it doesnt look promising.

Hopefully it's a solid win. Badgers are looking downright scary, atm.

Big one tomorrow. O hope my Irish are sick of being told they come out flat in big games.
Hopefully y'all come out flat. Go Dawgs!

Went with Buffs, if only because Mel Tucker is a great defensive coach.

Yes, and us Nebraskans remember Oklahoma in the '90s, Gary Gibbs, Howard Schnellenberger, and John Blake. The latter could recruit well and was on the 'Husker staff later but they couldn't win. It got so bad at one point that their slogan was "Bring Back the 'Bone" and clinging to the past. As super talented Nashville sports radio gentleman Bill King said though, "You get the hire right, everything else falls into place" Nobody much remembers the lean years before Stoops took over now. UT-Knoxville gets the high right and a lot will be forgiven. They could start helping their chances though by ignoring the bloviating gas bag Clay "I want to be important" Travis.
Man, I get the feeling you're not a Clay Travis fan! If I was them, I'd get rid of Fulmer. You already fired him once and he will never give a coaching staff free rein, he will always interfere.

Cool walk-on to scholarship story. Not as cool as the nevada on though...

I’ve never once called them coots. I think that’s dumb and immature...and that’s saying a lot when their mascot is the “c$%ks.” Yes, they got 5 on us...but Clemson leads the alltime series by 25. I think I’m safe to say they’ll never catch up in my lifetime.
Yeah, you seem too literate to post on Tigernet!

Hurts is a phenomenal qb. He's improved a ton since losing the starting job to Tua. I dont see a scenario where they arent in the playoffs, unless they sh*t the bed against Texas.

I have nothing against UT, especially since they eerily mirror Nebraska in the last 20+ years. There was a time when the Vols made a living off kids from GA that UGA didn't recruit.
That's happening now, actually. They are getting southeast kids that other schools dont want and some they do. UT was a perennial top 5 to top 15 recruiter. It's dropped a bit, but not much -they just arent winning games. Twenty years ago though...Georgia was down late 80s to 2001, bama was down til sabaton, clemson was average, where they took any kid they wanted.

Tennesee hasn't been Tennessee since 2001 with Travis Henry, etc. Being UGA alumnus, can't say I'm too broken up about Tennessee's travails. Still remember Casey Clausen and "one hand tied behind my back." Welcome to the board, you seem like a nice chap.
