I'm not sure I'd be leaving home after seeing a fan base get so vicious so quickly no matter how good the offense was.

With the way that Husker fans have acted the last 36 hours, I wouldn’t blame Robinson for crossing us off the list if he were to change from UK.

Our fan base does have some crazy fans and the comments made can easily be turning into "we have the most passionate fans in the country. Our fans and alumni alike will take care of you forever if you play football here. The people on twitter were just shocked and upset since they truly felt you were part of the Husker family." blah blah blah

I don't think this is over at all. Nebraska and others will keep pushing up til he signs.. Maybe have a Jean-Baptiste situation work in our favor... Plus, if any school has a capable recruiter they will point out Kentucky will lose 14 of 22 starters and 6-8 are projected NFL draft picks. This Kentucky team is going to be in rebuild mode after this season. Sure you can start there but you have a coach that won't know how to use your talents and you'll be on a mediocre team in the SEC. No matter where he goes, I don't think it'll be Kentucky.

  2. IMO, the pressure from his family/gf is the reason he will choose Kentucky TODAY. He is a kid on the rise and he will continue to be recruited by us and other schools all the way up to the moment he signs. This is like the CFP ranking's that came out Tuesday, sure they show you were you stand but in the grand scheme of things they don't mean a whole lot.

The one theme for Wandale is he is always talking about FIT and how important it is for him to be utilized correctly to maximize his potential which Kentucky most definitely will NOT do. Just look at the offense they run now and Stoops coaching history. We may lose out to Kentucky today but my fear is I don't want to face him at Ohio St..

If we continue to get better and better, and show improvement in games, I find it hard to believe he won't end up at Nebraska or someplace other than Kentucky (unless they do the unthinkable and beat UGA then go to the SEC champ game and compete with Bama).

  3. With Benhart's commitment, and Wandale and Wright committing this week (N or out we will know), N will sit at 20 or 21. With 6-8 spots remaining where do we go from here? Obviously, Safety is a priority with Pola-Gates and Bell being the most likely options. Corner? Pass rush? OL still?

Also, with a large majority of our class locked in, do we have the possibility of going after a big fish like Owen Pappoe? I mean, Frost already beat Auburn once, why not beat them again and add another Grayson player to our GA pipeline... Or are there any other big names we should keep an eye on as early signing signing period approaches?

    Gonna be a long hour

Should be the same amount of time as the last hour... and the hour before that.. and the hour before that..

Oh, btw, he's N. My step brother's uncle's wife's kid plays football with Darien. (Is the the insider info we were all waiting for?)

When I watch his film- he reminds me ALOT of rondale moore. Same Height, Same Weight, Same agility and speed, Same balance-hard to bring down.

And both Rondale and Wandale remind me of Steve Smith Sr. Same traits you mentioned above and they all have a grit and toughness about them.

If Brohm did stick around, Robinson/Moore would be terrifying. He does a great job getting the ball into Moore's hands, with 2 elite athletes that just gets easier. But, even if he stays for another year or two you're playing for another staff by junior year, and probably earlier.

Right now, Wandale would be an added bonus for Purdue since they appear on the outside looking in. They sit really well with .94 overall 4 star WR David Bell. Having Bell and Moore will be tough to handle.. throw in Wandale and that is just scary

On the flip side..... We have Mo Wash and JD who are stars in the making as well. Give Frost another weapon like Wandale and our offense can be best in the nation scary since we have A-Mart who has unlimited potential as well.. I really hope we snag this kid!

He didn’t make it to the Purdue game last night.

I started to think he wasn’t going when he had that post about “398...” for our first half offense. At the bottom of the post is still said he was in Frankfort, KY at around 2:30. Not that he couldn’t have still made it to Purdue but that’s cutting it real close.

If he makes it to our 11am BC game, he’s ours.

I’ve conducted workplace investigations for years: paid administrative leave is more often than not a precursor to termination.

I also conduct Title IX investigations in my current career so I am following this with great interest.

Urban is f#%ked. Because if he’s not, OSU is.

Agreed. OSU is separating themselves from Urban by placing him on paid leave. If the facts come out that he did know, he’s gone. If there’s no proof then they have the option to bring him back (slim chance).

    Definitely think he’s gone though.

I take back what I said. We need this guy if for nothing else another body at OT after Canty isn’t making it.

Normally I’d agree with you but I have a feeling we’re not going to take an additional OL to make up for Canty. We’ll still take 2 (maybe 3 if it’s someone we can’t pass on) Instead, we’ll be pushing hard for the guys in 2020. Lots of top OL in the 500 mile radius already interested in us.

It does make you feel bad for Ben Miles.

I wonder if he'll be able to carve out any playing time as a RB or TE/H-Back.

You know how we need to cut our scholarship number.. I think he’ll carve out a nice role at another school

  11. So Illinois has had quite a few CB's come in for this kid, including Wilt.. Could be over reaction to him unofficially visiting there and attending Jr day last month but timing seems like there might be something to this.

I know most people, myself included, think Beason's commitment won't stick but with Williams strongly considering Illinois do we need to start worrying about Lovie Smith?
