Youre basically correct, but we won’t tell JJB or Tannor no.

Very true. Would love to have both if they want N. So I would be happy to take 6 if that's the case. Put us right at 25 for the class and that puts us in a good place for the anticipation of attrition this spring.

Odd in an interview about his commitment he said the coaches told him it was likely they would take 1 more wr.  He committed to the coaches at 900 during his in home visit and made it public at midnight, which is his bday.  Said he didn't need to see Nebraska bc he loved the staff and how they treat their players.  Very familiar with them and will visit next weekend with mom

I am trying to figure out who the other WR we would be taking this class.. Nikko Hall? I think he's more of a DB prospect for us but I could be wrong.

Other than that Porter seems locked into A&M, UCLA or ASU. Olave appears to be a heavy UCLA lean. Maybe Andre Hunt? I don't know much about Hunt but I'd rather save the scholly for next year if that's the case.

So how bout that recruit this thread is for? Any news?

Well with Ohio St only having 2 spots left there's a solid chance we get one of JJB or Maurice Washington.. They are pursuing 2 OT's hard (high rated 4 and 5*), Christopher Oats (4* OLB), Washington, JJB and a 3 star WR... With OT as a top priority let's hope they get one of the 2. Then they have 1 spot for the rest so we could get 1 of the 2 or both if they take Oats and an OT... Fingers crossed for our sake.

Didn't Ohio St say they would take him as well if eligible? He visits them the week before us

Ohio St has their hands in too many pots right now with only 3 spots left.. They want an OT and have a shot with 2 top OT's, Jean baptiste, 4* DT Friday, Washington and I think there's a few others...

They can't take everybody so one of Washington or JJB should be N.. Plus, OSU is absolutely stocked up at RB and they'll for sure go after some 4 and 5 * Rb's next year

String of Friday to OSU predictions today. I hope, selfishly, he takes Javontae's spot.

    Thanks for the update.

I am curious, how many remaining spots could tOSU actually have available? OSU already signed 22 and they're going after a 5* OT Petite- Frere, 4* OL Walker, that 4* DT Tyler Friday and a .91 overall DE USC commit.. Do they only have 3 spots left?

I like this kid. I think frost will take 2 backs. I hope the offer still stands with Cain .

It would be borderline insane for us to not have our scholarship stand with Cain.. It would be great to re-offer him to remind him he has our offer but we'd be dumb to tell him "nope, we don't want one of the best RB's in the country."

I understand what you're saying , but I don't want any reaches in this class. If Frost can fill this class up with good talent and no reaches I will be estatic.

I couldn't agree more. No need to reach and spend a scholarship on a player when we could have a monster 2019 class after the coaching staff has time to build relationships and show some on field improvement.. I think us taking around 18 would be good unless we can pull in a couple long shots like Jacob Copeland, Tommy Bush, or Jean-Baptiste.

The old staff told him to not tackle more than 4 times?

Yeah, it was like the opposite of Bounty-Gate in New Orleans.. Riley and Diaco told our team they'll pay whoever misses the most amount of tackles each game. Roberts was just going after that paper.

We can call it the year of Charmin Ultra-Soft Gate

  10. Idk if this has been said but let me point out the obvious here... despite the coaching change and losing the relationships with the staff he was leaving anyways. We were just a victim of circumstances here..

top 3.. NU, FL St and a&m

NU staff gets ripped apart, fl st head coach and staff go to a&m..

oh and did we forget that josh and his twin Jordan want to play at the same school. Sometimes the pieces all fall in place and this time it wasn’t in our favor..

but hey, we have a great staff, with great players and a very bright future. We good without him

I also wouldn't mind a red helmet for a change

I would love to see, for just one game, have all black uni’s with red numbers. Then have a red helmet with the skull and crossbones logo. Even have our mid field logo be the bones. I think repping our alternate logo like that would be super dope!

    And that's Tennessee's problem. It's not Currie.

It is most definitely a Currie problem.. He should've done a little better job vetting his coach to be and he would've avoided the backlash and probably still have a job...

Yeah the fans at Tennessee are an issue too but you gotta know your fan base.. Moos knows his fan base and he's trying to keep us happy by saying the right things and going after a coach that is a genuine fit for Nebraska. Currie clearly didn't
