Bo looks a little PO'd
I’d be PO’d too.. he hasn’t coached at NU in almost 5 years, yet he constantly shows up in our recruiting offers/ images..
Idk if these kids pick their own images or if they get them from someone but can we please get some updated Frost images!?

Who's plan B for Lloyd? Do we have one?
I think it’s the JUCO Barno

Couldn’t we use them both? Seems we lack a little depth in the secondary, or am I wrong?
While I do think we could use both, I don’t think it’s a necessity to get both. We don’t lose a single CB from this year. Bootle has 2 years left, Cam Taylor 3 and Braxton Clark 4 (since he’ll redshirt) then you have incoming Frosh Newsome, Wright and potentially Pola-Gates.
I think we’d take Wallace if he wants to come here but we won’t be devistated if he doesn’t as long as we get Pola-Gates.

I almost wonder if he is a plan B for us, maybe Noa’s backup? Seems like we haven’t pushed overly hard for his commit and there were plenty of opportunities for him to commit.
IMO Thats definitely the case. We’re putting the full court press on Noa and if we miss on the 19th (staff will know but public may not) you’ll see the press on Wallace. If we get Noa, we let Wallace go without a fight

We have told him if he doesn't sign next week his spot is gone.
Clemson told him to take his time and OV in Jan.
Would really suck for him if he doesn’t sign with us on the 19th and OV’s with Clemson in Jan and then Clemson gets their OT targets and no longer has room for him.
Not sure how plausible that is for him but it’s happened before

SF > LM
SF is young and in LM not so much - go ask any LSU fan and they will say good luck to KU
I agree 100% that Frost is better than Les and that Nebraska is way better off than Kansas but Les used to be able to recruit. Just don’t want him being Wilson from Tim The Tool Man looking over our fence nosing into our targets seeing what we’re up to.

I have a feeling that Les Miles being at Kansas will be a pain in our a$$ when it comes to recruiting the region in the coming years..

I know he had a pretty bad injury that caused him to miss most of his junior year. Add that to switching schools and having to sit out 5 games this year could slow a lot of players.
There was an article before the season that said 9 out of the last 10 top instate prospects have gone out of state. This year i think its 7 of the top 10 will leave. High school coaches were also complaining that both edwards and sumlin hadn't been recruiting instate players. Just seems like asu needs to make inroads when it comes to local recruits especially a program like Chandler high
I find this extremely odd for Sumlin. At Texas A&M he constantly pulled the top talent out of Arizona.
Oh well! His loss is our gain!

Fwiw there’s rumblings Daxton Hill may flip BACK to Michigan
Where'd you hear this from? I know Michigan isn't just giving up on recruiting him but it seems the flip to Bama was a few weeks in the making.

I think we are the leader for Turner Corcoran, Zavier Betts and Nash Hutmacher. If all 3 committed today that would put us at the #10 class per 247. With average recruit ranking of 92.75.
And I'd bet Nutmasher's rating will continue to skyrocket.

I know it's a whole year until he can sign but has he shown any interest in anyone other than Nebraska? I want to this kid bad.

Hell, Bama's Plan C's sound pretty good right now.
Bama doesn't have plan C's... If plan A doesn't work out, plan B is sitting in their living room waiting for Saban to say, "your offer is now commitable." (ex. Pola-Gates)
-
Won't have much of an impact, Bama seems to be trending for 5 star DE Kayvon Thibideaux.. I think Bama views Ty and Pola Gates as back up plans.

After Bama flipped Hill and Carter that only solidifies our position with Pola-gates. Sure we were the back up plan to Bama but now with 2 other top players flipping you should see PG movement especially if he plans to sign in December.
This upcoming week will be real interesting in his recruitment..

Too lazy to listen, who’d he say?
1 Ty Robinson - we are the favorite here
2 Lloyd Summerall - tough to pull out of FL but we've been surprised before
3 Nola Pola-Gates - really good shot here. Bama toughest competition Penn St ASU and USC in the mix
4 Jamel Starks, Josh Sanguinetti - says we have a good chance with both
5 Dru Mathis - Great position with him but TCU and others in mix

Said it's kind of coming down to two schools. Was "shocked" that USC got rid of their recruiting coordinator so, as speculated above, they would seem to be out of it with Alabama and Nebraska being the two left. He was impressed by his Alabama visit and talking to Saban.
I'd kind of hate to hazzard a guess here at the risk of being disappointed but he said relationships are probably the most important thing and he would seem to have a better relationship with Nebraska than Alabama so I would think that would be his lean. But turning down Alabama would be pretty interesting.
I definitely think Nebraska has the better relationships here. The other positive for Nebraska is Bama already has 4 SDE's in this class (3 higher rated) and 2 WDE's (all higher rated). Sure ratings don't always matter and I don't think Ty has an issue competing or battling with the best but it can't hurt to know he will have a chance to get more practice/ game reps along with an excellent S&C program.
Just curious, with Pola-Gates being at the same school, any chance these two want to play together? I know Pola-Gates is a heavy Bama lean if they have room for him but it would be incredible to get both of these kids.

aka the money bag..
Totally kidding, don't need to pay this kid. Not super disappointed with this. I think the staff will find a better player to take his place
