Brohm announced he's staying at Purdue. Big time for us if the flip is going to be in our favor. Sounds like we have some ground to make up but if he can get over the distance factor I think we can snag him.

Frost has your back to buddy...
Do we have any relationship here at all?

247 reporting he ran verified 4.26 shuttle at a Nike camp.
I'm 30 and ran a verified 4.32 shuttle a couple weeks ago.. I think Frost needs to hit me up. I got those Stephon Diggs hands too

If anyone wants to watch the NJCAA Championship you can on CBS Sports. Here's a link with more information and details on how to find the channel in your area.

I'm trying to not read into this too much, but if we are offering a JUCO DE this late in the game, does this say something about our position with Ty Robinson?
As Ziebol said I think Banks is out since we are the clear leaders for Ty right now. Jackson being a JUCO is more about Guy Thomas leaving. While it isn't official that he's left yet, the feeling around the program is he's gone.

Frost at Grayson HS today. Talented school. Thompkins a commit and have Dixon and Barry already on the roster from there. I really hope we make a push for Owen Pappoe.

Ummm....no.....usually, they are actually correct. But....over the time of the recruitment of a kid, things change and so predictions change. By the time he commits, usually the CBs are correct.
Many of the better experts actually have conversations with the recruit to get a feel. That's way better than what's at the top of this page.
I was being sarcastic... but its the same thing.. people here vote on a poll and can change their vote as they see other CB's roll in for different schools. Anyways..
It's good to see CB's rolling in. With the loss of the DL coach at USC can only help us at this point.

Why do people do that?
These sites give the best guess they can with the information they have at the time. 247 Crystal Balls are the same way. People predict where they think they are going to end up. The kid...over time....has a change of heart, the expert changes his/her CB and people act like it's a major problem with the expert.
All those CB predictors are about as reliable as the poll at the top of this very page..... Okay, maybe the poll here is more reliable.

I haven't seen anything specific this year but they are almost always flying private for recruiting.
Frost might but last year I ran into Verdusco in the Charleston, SC airport flying business/first class to Atlanta shortly after being hired. Three people in our family walked up (wearing Nebraska gear of course) and introduced ourselves. You could tell he was absolutely shocked to see Nebraska fans knowing who he was so soon after being hired. Welcome to Nebraska!

Let’s say he signs in December and doesn’t announce it. If other schools contact/recruit him, isn’t that tampering/violation?
They won't be able to recruit him.. Once he signs, he's signed. All schools involved will be aware of the school he signed to. And all schools involved will either stop recruiting DE's or start recruiting others hard. Ty hopes things will stay under wraps but it will be nearly impossible.

My thoughts on how this is being handled is Held will be there to feel out the situation. If there's still interest from Robinson then Frost will make his way there at a later date. Frost has current commits and uncomitted targets that want to be N as a top priority.

It shows he only played in 5 games this year. He also looks 25 years old
He also looks like former USC WR Joseph Lewis...in his mug shot...

His team in the state semi's this week. If they lose he will visit West Virginia on Dec 7. Visiting Iowa St December 14th.

As I've said before, he will not end up at Kentucky... L'ville if they an grab Brohm and NU are my bets to get him..
Frost knows the recruting life and when it comes to a big time player sometimes adults pressure kids into making decisions which only confuses these 17-18 yr olds. Wandale wanted to be N, Frost wanted Wandale. If he is going to be in home I believe it's to clear up any miss understandings that may have occurred, re-establish his family's belief that N is the best place for Wandale's future and truly see where we stand with him. Idk how much football you guys watch, but as a coach I watch a ton and you can see that Kentucky is not a good fit for him. Sure they're havnig a good season now but that offense is anemic. They also will lose 14-16 starters to graduation or the draft.
Plus, after seeing us without spielman last week Frost knows we need another playmaker on the outside once Morgan is gone.

Any update here on how his visit went?

CAvanaugh is a drunk tweeter. As Herm Edwards would say, "DON'T PRESS SEND!"

I know recruiting services have a tough job to evaluate thousands of players to give accurate grades but how on earth does Rivals have Benhart as a 5.7 3*... I know that is a fringe 4* but come on, you're going to tell me this kid is just a fringe 3-4 star!?

I’m with you on that but it’s always concerning that he’s visiting. Really want this kid so I hope he sticks.

Interesting news here...
Florida St offered Bland and he seems interested. Said he definitely plans to visit Tallahassee. Coach for FSU is the same coach that was recruiting him out of high school. Article on 24/7
Frost and Co. need to keep a close eye on this one..

4 schools in 3 years. I get the wanting to be a QB thing, but do you think he could last a year here if he isn’t a starter?
Offered as a OLB and he is open to giving up QB at this point in his career. Chinander heading this one up and must like his defensive potential after playing qb for 3 years.. I’d imagine he’ll enjoy delivering hits vs receiving them

Idk, I'd say ask Bookie....

Massive series of CB’s rolling in for Oklahoma.
Bookie must be peer recruiting, “Join the Big 12 where no one knows how to coach defense!”
