Since I was born I was fed Michigan Wolverines, whether watching my Dad scream at the TV or going to my grandparents house and seeing my Grandfather sporting the old Wolverine sweatshirts. It's a real honor to support such a great program going 7-4 and having a chance to break its 7-4 or better streak after 21 years. Makes a lot of sense, maybe you should think before you type... did you go to UNL??? I would just like to note though... if Michigan was going down the shitter, which they very well could be in a couple years, like Nebraska I wouldn't make lame excuses. Is this a joke??? Ohio State would slap Nebraska silly. So stop trying to act like Ohio State is some kind of cover for the Huskers, these two teams are on a completely different wavelength. Come the 28th you will realize how mistakingly wrong you are too. Obviously you haven't been paying attention to your Huskers, our Wolverines, or the Buckeyes.

I'm not takin shots at you Roy.. I'm takin shots at the NU fans that make it seem as if Nebraska has a really good shot at winning. Since you obviously know that it would be a huge upset and have no problem dealing with the reality of the situation, I have no problem with you. But for people thinking that the CO game was a great accomplishment and that because NU has the same record, they need to open their eyes and realize how ridiculous of a comparison this is. You can't say NU has a great shot at beating UofM just because they have the same record and you beat CO. Colorado has proven to be pretty sh**ty these past 2 weeks, so you can't say that the Huskers are going to beat Michigan by two scores. Michigan played an elite schedule in a conference with some pretty competitive teams and Michigan did play the top teams in the BigTen.. including ND, at team which has shown poise and ranks in the top 5 this year. If you are going to make predictions, atleast make it qualified... people saying that NU is going to win by more than 2 scores are ridiculous. Sure, it could happen in God's green earth, but whose really placing bets on that. It's like predicting when the jackpot is gonna hit. I do not have time for people like this and nor do I care for such a stupid post. I respect the fact that people care about Nebraska football, but be realistic.. oh and some people on here cannot take or make a joke. Where is the lack of creativity on this board? If you can make some heat, why can't you take any. Who cares about this discussion board if there's no conflicts of interests/ideas.. It's discussion and if you can't handle strong adversity then your opinions are weak and frankly, I think you should consider not even posting them. Sack up and make valid points, talking about '97, '95 and '94 means squat. All those players, situations, etc... have passed into the woodwork. Make an argument that matters to THIS YEAR, not some bull$hit about 9 years ago. If you want to talk about history/tradition then fine, but you can't pass that off as something that matters here and now. If you do want to talk about tradition/history then I could say we have an alltime winning record against Nebraska, in fact you've beat us once.. but does that matter now? Different coaches, different players... etc... So learn some skills in the art of argumentation and bring up things that actually are meaningful. For those that may actually bring up good points, my apologies.

Oh wait... fast forward, it's 2005 right?? Who cares about '97, '95 and '94, ya bunch of old bluehairs... the only thing that matters is Michigan has been better all the years of Nebraska's sad existance. UNL should seriously consider asking UNO to replace them in the game so it will be more competitive.

Basically what we got here is a bowl game that will be played in 2005, I repeat 2005. 1997? What, I don't remember this thread being called... reminiscing about the days when we were actually a good football program. So anyways, if you're going to say that we wouldn't want to face your schedule in '97 than you must be saying that you're going to lose. Because, you have admitted that you would not want to face our schedule and thus have stated that the Huskers cannot compete with Michigan. I state this in light of the fact that eventhough Michigan played a schedule ten times the strength of the Huskers we are still 7-4. Thus fulfilling my prophetic Xbox's truths. Yeah when I play against Nebraska on Rookie level with AI settings 0 for computer and 100 for me I dominated them. It was a pretty close match and I think I ended up winning something like 200-3.... I got bored and put the CPU level back on Heisman for a second. So I mean, as a matter of truth, this game I played is probably a good indication of how things will turn out in the Alamo Bowl. I made the game really realistic by taking all the necessary precautions to getting both Nebraska and Michigan to the bowl. I had to lose for Michigan and win for Nebraska, because obviously Nebraska wouldn't be able to do it for themselves. In conclusion, I believe my Xbox will become famous for it's unbelievable psychic nature and will extend my deepest concerns and prayers for you all on December 28th.

The only reason Nebraska got a share of the title is because they cheated to win the game against Missouri. The ball was illegally kicked in the end zone and should have been an incompletion- therefore Missouri wins the game and Nebraska finishes the season with a loss. There is no dispute then on Michigan's outright championship. There won't be a single Husker fan in here that will agree, because any good fan wouldn't admit to it. BUT I know deep in your heart-of-hearts it pains you because it's devestatingly true. Oh yeah.. if there was a game, Michigan wins it 100 out of 100 times. Michigan is better no matter how you look at it... gosh, where have I heard that before? Seriously, no one could know the outcome... except for me because God told me through divine thought that Michigan would have won the game 105-0. He also told me that you cheated to score that 0 somehow. I think it should've been more like 105-(-17). If this post curdled your blood- then good... that's about how ridiculous you sound. Yeah that sounds pretty reasonable to me. Lets be honest, God does work in mysterious ways. I also had a vision about this years Alamo Bowl, Michigan came out on top by 95, not quite as solid of a victory, but definately a modest win.

I see a lot of stats here, but you guys aren't considering the quality of each team's competition. If Michigan scheduled some junior varsity high school teams (like Maine) they'd have some awesome numbers. Nebraska didn't face anywhere near the same competition that Michigan did. Plus, who gets spanked by Kansas? Seriously...
