Hopefully the good guys are rested and confident. I'm confident in one thing.. win or lose today there will still be Debbie Downers posting. Anyways, good luck to the team and GBR!!! Huskers win going away 7-3

Yeah, people need to realize baseball is such a marathon. At one point last year NC St was 4-9 and looked like the worst team in the ACC and Pitt was 9-4 and projected to host a regional. NC St ended up being one of the best teams in baseball and Pitt didn't even make the post season. Baseball is all how you finish.

I didn’t realize that was a thing as far as lunch goes.   My kids can eat whatever they would like for lunch.  The kids with allergies sit at different tables I believe.   The classroom snacks are restricted though.

I'm boned if my kids can't bring pbj to school. We go through pallets of these at my house, and yes I do most the damage.

I completely agree with all the above points on BIG baseball coverage. BTN certainly does a poor job promoting regardless of if they are able to broadcast or not. My comment was solely on television/streaming coverage for the non-conference schedule. I think baseball is underserved across the board as I have not seen any promotion on the ACC/SEC/Pac-12 networks some of which ESPN+ is broadcasting. I'm still bitter only one game this weekend is being streamed by ESPN+.

Yeah the non con thing I can live with. But again all the other conferences already have their conf TV slates set too. Hopefully BTN puts every conf game on BTN+ and highlights at least one preimer series for BTN every weekend. I believe BTN dragging their feet makes it so NET can't pick games yet, and they do great coverage.

If it's not football or anything to do with Ohio St then it is ignored.

I emailed the Nebraska athletic department, they basically said the B1G has too much on their plate with basketball/reschedules to figure out baseball. I'm sorry, how much is this league worth? You can walk and chew bubblegum at the same time.

  5. I think Fred is back next year. If we move on from Fred, I really don't care who we get. Fred was a can't miss hire. Guys like Pikiell and Gard were far from "sexy hires". Just find a guy with a plan who can get the kids to play hard - don't care if he's currently coaching high school kids.

I mean, we have the exact same ILB room as last year.. Honas was hurt last year, gone this year. I've liked Snodgrass when he's been in but we're fine at ILB. Missing spring isn't the end of the world, and he's ILB4 right now - probably only a major contributor if there's an injury ahead of him anyway.

Yeah I couldn't tell if that was sarcasm or not, because we have our 3 top ILBs coming back and they all played all 12 games last season. Could be the room I'm least concerned about.

I was making a joke.  Trying to be funny, not an attack on you or your point.

But on a serious matter, family physicians differ on a lot of stuff.  When my dad got covid, my mom told the DR. she was going to the store to get supplies for the quarantine.  She told the Dr, don't worry, I will wear a mask.  He said it doesn't really matter.  Masks don't work anyway.

That is my point about Dr's and scientist too.  Everyone says, trust the Dr's or trust  the scientists.  I am always like, which ones.  You can find one to say whatever you want to hear.  It doesn't matter what side of the issue you are on.

I take in all of the info and do the best I can to make an informed decision.   As we all should.

Yeah I think of it like I do a mechanic. I find a local person I trust, that can put eyes and hands on my car. For medical advice I go to my doc I see regularly, has my vitals, meds, labs - I listen to him and block out the noise that's all over CNN and Fox News.

I agree.  And, I'll add, it's extremely disappointing that Americans have been conditioned to think they are getting actual worthwhile medical information from someone like him AND.....that people like him feel it necessary to try to convince people of total crap.  Yep....totally American.

Seems to me (most of) his listeners know Joe says dumb s#!t. Many times over he's said stuff that is flat wrong and his listeners roast him on. The minority groups on either side just can't take things at face value. He's not a medical hero, nor should he burned at the stake. Just a guy that has said off the wall s#!t for many years.

  9. I like some of Rogans content. Just like I enjoy watching Rodgers throw a football. If you're taking medical advice from either one, you are doing it wrong. People with platforms spout stupid s#!t constantly, it's as American as apple pie. Just wish more people were taught where to receive their info. Listen to Rodgers tell you how to throw a football, listen to Rogan talk MMA or tell jokes, go to your family physical on how to best treat a virus. We shouldn't have to completely shut down Joe Rogan because people are dumb enough to get their medical advice from a guy that didn't graduate college.
