Are you one of those cretins from Creighton? I highly doubt your Husker bona fides! And you living in AZ (allegedly) makes me even more suspicious.

Maybe the Bobster’s first team improved the most over the previous year’s team.
Don’t look at the record!
I was at the MN game last year. This year’s team would beat last year’s team by 40. Easy.

I say that piece crosses a line. I also predict that the Cornhuskers beat Iowa. A rivalry is born.
And as a former bankruptcy lawyer, it is dead wrong on the law.

In the deed the glory.
How great is that?

Undone:
i love the PoPo’s!
If the Tribe tries to tax the burgers at PoPo’s, there will be a shooting war.

We will be lucky to beat that hyphenated team in that make-up game.
And Frost said we “deserved” to win that game! Ha! We sucked at multiple levels. We deserved to lose.
I am despondent.

I say have open tryouts from the student body. And maybe some of the VB girls could be wide receivers.

Five year plans didn’t work for the Soviets. It should have been called a five season plan.

Scott Frost nearly got cold feet, but one last phone call to Tom Osborne gave Frost all the assurance he needed, finally bringing an end to the Nebraska coaching search and setting the stage for what could be one of the most memorable stories in Nebraska football history.
Dr. Tom saves the day. Again.

Yesterday we learned that Moos answered the questions of how he defines competitiveness and how the AD promotes it.

Part 3,
QuoteThe third part of The Return of Scott Frost focuses on the courtship that played out over a series of texts and phone calls spanning weeks, as Matt Davison tried to convince buddy and former teammate Frost he needed to come back to Lincoln to save their beloved Cornhuskers.
Matty is the hero, again.

In part 1, Uncle Moose forfeited $2.5m of his Oregon non-compete in order to work at WSU. I also recall that the non-compete prohibited him from working at any school west of the Rockies. Ergo, the Ducks thought highly of Moos.

“The second part of The Return of Scott Frost focuses on how Bill Moos was hired to become Nebraska's athletic director, his early impressions of Mike Riley and how quickly Frost became not only the focus of Husker fans everywhere — but of Moos as well.”

Miles is BIG COY.

This is a MUST read. Behind the paywall. Buy a hard copy or subscribe to the digital version.
Lots of info even YOU didn’t know.
This is Pulitzer Prize stuff.
As I travel the country, I always note that our OWH is superior to other local fishwraps.

“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.” Saul Alinsky.
And it works too. Mock him ceaselessly.

Let me be crystal clear on this topic. I admire Tim Miles. He is very smart. He had to get in front of this and he did so perfectly.
His players were thinking of boycotting a game. Miles needs an NCAA bid. Every win is critical. Miles avoided a player boycott.
Miles and Uncle Moose know what happened at Missouri. Football players boycotted. Football coach fired. University of Missouri melted down. Student enrollment way down. Dorms closed. Faculty and staff layoffs. Contributions down. It will take a decade to recover.
I support Tim and Bill. Two very savvy guys.

Gunna just leave that example here. Many, many, many more..... too many really.
The people of the Nebraska - at a great personal and financial cost - defeated the Nazis over 60 years ago. It is, after all, called Memorial Stadium; named after our native sons and daughters (of all races) who fought for OUR country.
This one idiot undergrad has zero influence and importance. He is just an attention whore.
For the most part, the protestors are virtue signaling. They are against hate. All people are against hate. I am against hate. I am for America. I stand for the National Anthem. I am virtuous.
Again, who is not patriotic and in favor of hate? I also am in favor of Mom and apple pie. Strawberry pie too. But only as long as the apples and strawberries are grown in Nebraska. Nebraska is my Tribe. Nothing from California.

Who exactly is in favor of hate, racism and prejudice?

Coach Frost is everything, man. I won the most-inspirational award last night and he told me I’m like one of his sons,” Moore said in the locker room afterward as he fought back tears. “That man is such a special dude. Nebraska players don’t know what they’re getting from that guy. He’s such a cool, nice dude. It’s more than football with Coach Frost. You can see why everybody is crying in the locker room. I don’t think we’ll ever come across a guy that cares so much about his players like he did.
“After the game, I didn’t even celebrate because I was happy, I knew all along we were going to win, but my dad man … so many people tell me he’s here with me, but I just want him physically, you know. I just wear this [chain with a pendant of Bam and his dad] around my neck every day and I just wish he was here with me. I just take it day by day.”

What a great coach and now he is ours.

Cheated by the refs. Again!

More trash talk.
QuoteMiles has a secret weapon for Saturday. Turns out the Husker alum and radio color man Matt Davison has unused eligibility. After a few practices it was clear that 40 something Matty was the best player on the court. He is starting on Saturday.

More trash talk.
QuoteOur only real motivation on Saturday is to take the lead in the all-time series against the Corn. Mac, of course, has his personal streak against Miles to keep alive.
I’m really excited to see Scurry crowned as our new scoring threat. Ronnie might break some of the rebounding records of HOF member Paul Silas. Clement also might break some of Ryan Sears’ assist records.
Historic game this Saturday.
Is this the most improved Husker team in history?
