It shouldn't be too hard to find someone who doesn't suck? Right?

Mike Riley's offense is small fries compared to Frosts. Sorry if that was cheesy.

Ghost of games past. Sure we want to do this?

Bars: Barry's, Gate 25 bar, Sandy's, Iggies,
Restaurants: Lazlos, Leadbelly, Yowie's, Yia Yia's
Those are some of my favorites. Really just walk around South of campus and you'll have a good time.

I think we could win. Riley is usually good for winning one game he shouldn't each year

At least we wouldn't have to watch him stand there hunched over with his hands on his knees anymore. At 115 they would have to wheel him out there on a gurney.
Lol. I bet in game he would talk to the team just as much too

I wanted to pick "I understand we've got a long way back to being a championship-caliber program and I don't care how they do it (within the rules, of course)."
but I don't really want to imply that i'm fine with keeping Riley for forever. I think if he coached here for the next 50 years he would never win a national championship.

Lee throws 3 picks, only one results in a score. He gets benched late in the 3rd.
Defense gets two turnovers, one fumble and one pick 6.
Lee prediction is bold. Not the part about him throwing picks. The part about Mike Riley benching him.

Wow I underestimated the amount of people who think langsdorf isn't good enough to interim one game. I don't really have a hard preference on this one. Sure we can let Diaco I guess? He will have 12 games under his belt by then so it wouldn't be as weird. Who would you guys prefer?

Dave Remington says "I’m not here to fire anybody; I’m here to calm things down". Which makes sense. So for all the people thinking there could be a mid season fire it looks like there won't be.
This is the best decision in my opinion. No matter how ugly things get, let Riley get through the season. Let Langsdorf potentially coach the bowl game

I know it kind of seemed like a decent amount of people felt better with Riley after the win, but a lot of those same people will flip back after the next loss. I don't think it's particularly advantageous to let the guy go now just let the rest of the season be more evidence

Ah geez it's a lot harder to want Riley fired when you hear him talk

It obviously affects it negatively. We just lost to a team that we recruited much much much better than. I think we'll be ok to have one down year.
Also, if you were Riley would you even continue to try to recruit at all? The writing is on the wall so hard.

Between MR's losses, Bo's immaturity and Callahan starting the downfall who was worst?

Texas will be fine. Tom Herman is a good coach. If you believe in rebuilding years this is his.

Hi I'm new. Despite my chosen name before we do anything we really should lose SE. I don't think anyone should trust this guy picking whoever MR's successor is.
SE gave Bo a 7 year contract
SE fired Bo 1 year into that contract
SE hired MR
SE gave MR a secret 1 year contract extension
SE didn't think it would upset people to remove the Black Friday game
Whatever this guy's buyout is, is probably an investment. Personally, I'm willing to sit through another season and miserable huskerboard to wait.
Also, why would you give someone a secret extension? Were he ashamed of himself?

Bo won 67 games in 7 seasons... that seems pretty good to me for a guy in his first head coaching job who didn't even recruit that well.
How many seasons will Riley have to coach to obtain 67 wins?
If Mike Riley maintains the current win percentage and we continue to get bowl games it will take him until the third game of 2023 to equal Bo's amount of wins.

JIM TRESSEL. Really can't think of anyone who would be good besides him.
