Chins had four years of our defense slowly improving then we graduate a ton and now we're having very rough rebuilding year and we want him to be out of a job 9 games before he most likely will be anyway? The hay (or lack there of) is already in the barn - Would a new DC for 9 games really change anything? Give the man 9 more games

Ok from firing Bo one year into a seven year contract to giving a secret extension to Mike Riley to not waiting a month to fire Frost - Can we please stop burning money.
Official Trev reason was it was done for the good of the players - so booster confirmed.

Actually not mad about this one. The better team won and frankly should have won by 10. This signature loss is what we needed to ensure we'll have a new coach next season. Worst case scenario would have been 6-7 on the year and Frost returning.

To save money, duh.
If only we had just agreed to pay 1M per win instead of 5M per year we could have saved 5M.
5M x 4 years vs 15 wins x 1M

Would you be okay with this AND think it was a good year?
A.) 8-4 with loss to OU, Mich, Wisc, Iowa? Be 6-3 in West.
B.) 8-4 with loss to OU, Purdue, Mich, Wisc? Same 6-3 West. It's like You beat North Dakota, Rutgers and Illinois several times.
Overall it's ok on paper, I suppose..... But I am not so sure this would epitomize a Top 25 football product.
Thoughts?
If we get 8 wins then we'll have more wins in a single season than the last two combined. Yes that would be a good season.

7.5!? I'm worried we won't break 5

Fitz had a long time defensive coordinator that retired after their last winning season. There's a decent chance their success was largely due to Mike Hankwitz abilities and not Pat Fitzgerald's.

Alright twist my arm. We can meet in a bowl game and we can stomp them like it's 2010

The bowl game is the line. In future years 6 wins won't be enough, but this year that is absolutely the line to survive and advance.

I think it's really simple. Bowl game Frost stays. No bowl game he's out. I think Trev and a lot of people like him, but we can't have no bowl games in 5 years. Making it to a bowl game shows progress which is good enough to survive one more year.

How are you guys getting prepared for the season? I'm studying all the film because the last M Washington couldn't get a head keeping bad tape.

Please let Wisconsin blow up their tried and true offense that has ran over us for years for a pass happy offense.

If we look at history the last time Vegas picked us to win 7.5 games - a bunch of games were cancelled, no fans were allowed, and we almost didn't have a season. So probably prepare for that.

Looking back Vegas had:
Year | prediction | outcome
2018 6 4
2019 8 5
2020 7.5* 3*
2021 6 3
2022 7.5 ?

Does anyone know why the red roof in the rendering looks paper thin? No way something that thin cantilevers over such large area

Is it too late for Jordan Addison or can we still offer the north bottoms and throw in a quadrant of the capital

I just watched the Texas vs TCU last year to see Thomson and him. I came away kinda disappointed. He missed 3-4 tackles and another TCU defender, Dylan Horter actually looked better that game. He also had an sportsmanlike penalty and the next play Thomson threw a pick throwing into triple coverage. All in all Thomson did fine though. The game was also a disappointing reminder we lost JD. The game ended in a texas win (puke) from a TCU breakdown that was reminiscent of Nebraska with a comedy of errors complete with a special teams gaffe, too many turnovers and a questionable targeting call.
TLDR I'm glad we got him cause we're thin, but I don't think he's the Randy Gregory some are making him out to be.
