I have the feeling that won't be their strategy this year.

It also feels like it's windy with 3 feet of snow on the ground every time we play them, so it usually should be a solid strategy.

Will Przystup improved his punt from 7 yards to 84. If he improves by 77 yards every week he will be able to punt the ball 161 yards this week and 469 yards by the end of the season.

Seems like a long shot to get a bowl this season even though I feel like we're talented enough to do it. If we pull the plug on Frost, then we have to assume another year or two of rebuilding. When do you guys think it will happen?

I feel very confident about beating them this year. I feel very confident about losing to them to start next season.

I agree with everything you're saying but steal one game later on? Up until now Scott Frost at Nebraska is

- 1-2 vs Northwestern

- 1-2 vs Purdue

- 1-2 vs Minnesota

- never beaten a ranked team

We're playing those 3 teams and 5 ranked other ones. Every win after Buffalo on is at some level a steal. Not saying we can't, but to get a bowl game at this point is going to require bucking trends. Our back is very much against the wall right now.

Bowl game is going to be a lot harder if we don't get a win this week.

Impressed with how tough our guys played, especially Adrian but I'm not sure we're ever going to move on from this 'comedy of errors' we see every game.

What's up with half you guys thinking we'll make a field goal?

I guess they'll be big12 refs. Hopefully they'll be butthurt at OK like they were at us after we said we would leave the conference.

True about the jet sweeps.  I just rewatched highlights of the first half of the 408 game and Gordon was just busting normal runs, nothing at all special.  Toss plays, draws, all going for 10/20/40. I had completely forgotten also that Wisconsin fumbled 4 times in the first 20 minutes of that game, losing 3. NU was up 17-3. Amazing.  Without that start and if he'd played all 4 quarters he may have run for 600 yards that day.

Sounds like Nebraska is going to have to start beating Top 25 teams again. Seems like as good of year as any to do so to me.

I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been more hype for Wynden. Seems like a solid dude.

The year is 2030.  The Southeastern Conference has 40 teams. They play a 3 conference game schedule. Notre Dame happily joined when hearing this. Each team has a mandatory 3 FCS team crossover. The conference champion is determined by a committee that bases it's vote primarily on the eye test.  All 40 teams have an automatic bid to 128 playoff at the end of the season.
