  1. Trey Wallace is a person that has broken many stories for TN for many years is saying this morning (radio show) that the TCU head coach is a candidate for the TN job. He isn't saying he will be there next head coach, but Patterson and TN have been talking. Personally I would be surprised if he left TCU for TN, but he did interview with them in 2007. JAV (just a vol) on 247, the most reliable insider for TN on that forum, is saying Chip Kelly to Florida may not happen. Frost to UF isn't going to happen. Personally, I will stick with thinking Chip to UF until I see something reliable (reliable FLorida source) that says something otherwise.
  2. Not sure. He could have had the LSU job last year if he wanted it.
  3. Nothing news worthy this morning on any of the coaching searches. Only thing that is getting a tad interesting is that Jimbo Fisher may try for the A&M job according to Adam R. (ESPN guy) on some radio show this morning. On the free board for RSS people say Scott Frost wants a 7 year deal. Thus, nothing news worthy or reliable info this morning besides the Jimbo stuff.
  4. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/football/shatel-the-hunch-is-a-bill-moos-call-would-lure/article_cc02eb22-5e98-5c1b-af94-182acf2fd2bd.html
  5. This makes more sense than direct contact at this time of the season.
  6. So you are calling Adam a liar. He literally said to Mike'l that Nebraska contacted UCF. 10:30 minute mark on the link that I have posted. Listen to it.
  7. I never said anything about UF calling UCF. UF speaking with Frost's agent isn't UF calling UCF. The point that I am making is that we have not heard about UF contacting UCF. that doesn't mean they didn't call them, just that we can't assume they did since nothing has been reported that the did like Nebraska did.
  8. School A calling school B is how it has been done for a very long time. It simply means school a wants to speak with school b's head coach. that is intent 100%. The depth of the intent is up for debate, but it is clear why Nebraska would be contacting UCF. We are not calling UCF to speak with Frost to talk about the head coach at some random school or anything like that. It should be as obvious as a blue sky in hot and humid sunny summer day what contacting UCF is about.
  9. Schools contact the AD to speak with their head coach when they want to speak with them. It has been that way for a long time. It is simply a courtesy call. If UF doesn't hire a coach before the end of the season they also would be calling AD's to speak with coaches. Nebraska contacting UCF send a clear message about intent. TN will be calling AD's. So will other schools that open up (A&M for sure).
  10. Nebraska contacted UCF. People will troll around with stuff like this for a couple of weeks.
  11. Schools are contacted if the school wants to speak with their coach. Nebraska is the only name mentioned in public to have contacted UCF. Nobody has said anything about UF calling UCF to speak with Scott Frost. All we can do is assume that all of the UF and Scott Frost stuff was through the agent. If Scott Frost never gave UF a yes answer, there is no reason for UF to give UFC a call. If Scott Frost said yes to Nebraska, then I can see why Nebraska contacted UCF. Speak to caoch and buyout.
  12. Sounds like he got the info from UCF. http://owh.backbonebroadcast.com/owh_mp3/POD20171113190155.mp3
  13. Nobody from UCF or Nebraska shot it down. You know they will have been alerted/asked if this was true. IMO, that tells us a lot.
  14. I said nothing wrong. It literally said what I posted. I stand by what I posted and stand by everything I have posted in this thread.
  15. I know, I just don't get worked up over that stuff. People said Alabama will never be good again when they sucked. People said Miami would never win it all again. People said Notre Dame would never win it again and they recently played for it all. Cowturd once said a few years ago that no northern team would ever win a national title again and then Ohio State goes and wins it all.
  16. I simply took the words to show you they are literally right there. Literally.
  17. Scott Frost talk starts at the 10:30 mark. "some type of offer or interest known" He mentions a bit more but nothing ground breaking. http://owh.backbonebroadcast.com/owh_mp3/POD20171113190155.mp3
  18. I see nothing wrong with the author saying that. He is a native Ohio guy, coached at Toledo. I see him getting a job at PSU, MI or OSU eventually.
  19. Those around him....pass up...Florida job. Literally right there. I have always said Scott Frost is coming.
