So UF tried to go after Frost, was told no, then they start with Chip, they go back to Frost and again were told no, then UCLA news breaks, then UF gets desperate and takes their entire team to New Hampshire to close, they failed to close, now Chip is speaking with UCLA on Monday. This is why you don't do a coaching search in public and why you do work behind closed doors BEFORE you fire a head coach. This entire UF soap opera makes it clear UF did zero work behind closed doors before firing their head coach.

So UF sent 6 people to New Hampshire and the AD and failed to come back with a signed contract. They failed to close. We will see if that dooms them in when Chip meets with UCLA.

Now the Florida people are saying Chip Kelly will be meeting with UCLA tomorrow.

I went and visited the forum where it is posted. That poster has been pretending to have the inside story on everything Frost for a while now. And Davison would never share something like that with strangers and it isn't even first hand account info. It's a troll post to get a reaction out of people.

Sounds like a made up RSS rumor.

Go to 2:17 and watch that play. This is why I love the Frost offense so much. Against Maryland he ran a triple option out of this formation and in the Temple game it was a pass. Same exact motion, same formation, completely different play.

Yep, and it allows the west and Midwest to be free of any Frost type of offense for recruiting purposes. Florida has plenty of speed so that isn't going to be an issue.

Why? Supposedly UF has contract in hand, on the ground in NH, for Chip Kelly to sign. If that is true we will find out very soon. That 100% eliminates UF and Scott Frost.

For selfish reasons I would prefer the UF job get filled ASAP to kill off any potential Frost and UF connection.

Supposedly FLorida is giving Chip Kelly a contract to sign tonight. That is what they claim on their message boards.

Florida made a jerk reaction and used the threat lie to fire him. They got cocky thinking they could fire him and have a new coach wrapped up in a heartbeat because they are UF. Fast Forward today and they will lose out to Frost and Kelly and likely end up with Taggart or Strong, which the fanbase will always be angry about. That is why you do the search BEFORE you fire and not after you fire. The best AD's get to work with agents before they pull the trigger. Use our last AD as an example of how bad he failed at the firing and hiring stuff.

With how long the UF and Chip stuff went on, I wondering if Chip/agents played UF to get UCLA to make the move so he can go there. If they didn't make the move he would have signed with UF. Man UF fans are going to be pissed at their AD.

Let's just say there is a reason Lars tweeted what he did and the numbers he listed. And a reason why Frost didn't say there were no talks or no deal on the table. Next year college football is going to look a lot different and I am looking forward to it. A&M will have a new coach. UCLA is getting so much Chip Kelly buzz on Twitter I can't keep up with it, UF will be laughed at for letting things leak to the public and end up with a Taggart or Strong (where my money would be going to now), Auburn's coach will be going to Arkansas, and more.

It is well known that Chip prefers the west coast. Time to go to the UF boards and look at how they are taking the news.

He said no to Oregon last year. Taggart and Strong will become names for the UF job if Chip goes to UCLA. If the FSU job opens with JImbo going to A&M, that is going to generate some interesting buzz. Arkansas will be after the Auburn head coach.
