Florida is going to come after Frost again.

However, I have faith that Moos and Frost already have a deal in place.

I have no doubt that Frost was Florida's first choice. He told them he wasn't interested, so they turned to Kelly. Kelly forced UCLA's hand and now they seem confident that they're going to land him. Florida will end up w/ Charlie Strong. I have faith that Frost and Moos have a deal in place.

So basically what I'm hearing is that UCLA was planning on keeping Mora for another year, due to his rather high buyout. Kelly's reps reached out to them and told them that if they want Chip, they have to go after him this season, otherwise he's going to Florida. So basically Chip forced their hand, and they decided to play.

Like I've said before while Florida is fawning over Frost hoping he'll change his mind, Kelly is going to either lose interest or some other program is gonna snag him. Florida's gonna end up with Charlie Strong

I'd hate to lose Coach Williams, because he's a heckuva recruiter, but if it's Frost's decision not to retain him, I'm certainly OK with it.

I'm sure he's gonna break it down to them and tell them how Nebraska is where he was born and raised, it's his home, and it's been his dream to coach there. His UCF players will understand.

Frost knows the entire Husker fan base, the entire state, is counting on him. He has the opportunity to be a legend on the level of Osborne and Devaney if he can work similar wonders in Lincoln. I don't see him turning down that opportunity.

Agreed -- I was thinking he was going to UCLA... and if the Gators aren't careful, the Bruins are gonna swoop him and snatch him away while they're still fawning over Frost

I'd like to think that the state of Nebraska and the collective fan base would be a utopia if Frost is hired -- unfortunately, I see some folks on Facebook who think he's the wrong hire or that he should be on a 3-year leash, just like everyone else

Apparently the lull with Kelly hire is that they are doing the checks on all of the assistants he wants to bring with him.  Some are saying that they're holding out, still trying to lure Frost... unfortunately for them, if they wait too long they may miss out on both

Yeah just remember last year ESPN reported that Tom Herman was going to sign to become the next coach at LSU... I won't be at ease until it's official

UCF challenged their fans to step up to the plate and prove how much they want Frost to stay, and they failed miserably. Even if they had met their goal, it still would've been chump change next to what Nebraska will offer. I see the UCF boosters trying to challenge Frost with the "He can either go back to an old dynasty, or he can stay and try to build a new dynasty" spiel
