That is how coaches should be, not necessarily fans.  I'm kind of like that as well given how the last decade has gone, but speculating about bowl games is the type of thing message boards are for and fun for some fans.

Huskers have too many injuries on offense, spotty QB play, uneven kicking, and a defense that does not create turnovers.  I think we just need to worry about getting to a bowl.

Teams should just fair catch kickoffs. There are too many penalties called on kickoffs to make it worth the one TD you might return if lucky a season.

In theory, we should haven't have an issue making a bowl game given how mediocre or bad most of the opponents left on our schedule are.  In reality, I still feel like 5 wins is our most likely outcome with 6 wins coming in second.

It sucks that Washington is out for the year.  He was probably our best WR.  He got thrown down away from where the play was happening, too.

I don't want HH or Simms as our first string QB next year.  I would still stick with HH since he still seems less prone to game changing turnovers than Simms and more likely to lead us to 6 wins.  Plus, I could see HH sticking around maybe as our backup next year and it would be nice to have a serviceable one in that role.

Seriously?  We just needed a couple FGs to put the game away and can't.
