I reconfirmed my 2nd favorite college team to watch is Air Force. Watching a Falcon game is like getting in a time machine and going back 30 years to the TO era at NU. And I'd take watching a well run option game over an air raid offense every time. There aren't many that run it any more and Air Force is about the only one that executes like it should be run.
Plus, it's refreshing to watch a highly disciplined team that has very few penalties and doesn't shoot themselves in the foot multiple times a game.

Can’t wait to hang 50 on these Kakapos.
Haha. So our #120 scoring offense is going to "hang 50" on their #10 scoring defense? K
I'll be happy if can manage a one point win. Looking at both offenses and defenses the O/U is probably going to be in the 30's.

Benhart is definitely improved. In fact, if you replace the other tackle with a guy that is playing like Behart is right now, I think we would be talking very different about the line. Has Benhart been perfect? No. But, he's been way better than he was last year....in my opinion.
I was going to post something similar. If we had a decent LT and backup for him they could move TC back to the interior where he belongs and we'd have at least a serviceable OL across the front 5. Losing Rouse to OU was a massive loss that can't be underestimated IMHO.

It wouldn't surprise me at all that NU has a bounce back game in Champaign after their pathetic effort against Mich.
Then again, Ill. is also in dire straits and in a similar position to NU. Plus Bielema has a history of being able to take NU to the woodshed.
Should be an interesting game.

Looks like two mediocre teams. Should be a close contest.

The B1G West is a steaming hot mess with some really awful teams but at this point of the season it looks to me that NU is the worst team in the entire conference.

Mich. is averaging 4.97 yd/rush. It will be interesting to see how the D holds up against their OL which is by far the best we will have seen this year.

Nobody would notice...would they? He sort of looks like Gabe or Rhamir......I'm sure he could play either QB or RB.
I wonder if anybody has tried that? Surely in the entire history of college football there have been people who seriously have thought that and given it a try.

What an uninspiring weekend of games. Some real stinkers on that list.

Regardless if they end up winning or not I'll be curious to see how much the line moves after see how CU looks todey and our anemic loss Thursday night.

I was wondering if there would be prediction threads in the Contest Crib forum this year. It doesn't look like it.

Who is at RB won't matter much if the line is still below average, which I see coming looking at that depth chart. WR aren't going to scare anyone and Sims will be inconsistent. We will struggle to score points, but the defense I think will be better until they get worn out late in games which will be lame.
Wow. Are you ever a ray of sunshine. Sounds like we'll be lucky to go 0-12 with a few calamities thrown in for good measure to make things even worse.

Considering I went to the last game in 2019, with my Colorado plated car, got out with 4 others in Nebraska gear on campus, walked around said campus, went to the game and even talked a bunch of crap in the middle of a CU section and had zero issues...I think that limb is strong enough. This myth is outdated and simply not true any more. I work in Boulder, talk to people about this, and very few of them care about CU.
But, but the hippies (haven't heard that term in a long time). They're all rabid football fans and prone to violent outbursts from smoking all that evil ganja.

Prediction - Ethan Nation will be
2 hours ago, Mavric said:Newsome said the guys who have mainly been playing CB are himself, Hartzog, Hill, Bootle and Ethan Nation.
Prediction. Ethan Nation is going to have big impact on Husker football in the coming years. Although only a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ by the services he had offers from just about every P5 powerhouse program there is. Kind of flew under a lot of peoples radar IMHO.

Anything more than 4 is bonus and ahead of schedule on the rebuild. There's potential and a decent amount of it for more, but there's also potential for things to go bad with injuries, growing pains, time to gel, and so on.
Exactly.

According to a post on another board you actually could see some of practice although the feed seems to be just still images that update every few seconds so not much could be gleaned from it I don't think.

And yet they are 6-1 and ranked #112 in scoring offense while DONU is 3-3 & #120. Hmm
