I got a feeling this linebackers class is going to be special.

Whoa. They’re all rocking the Michael Jackson “Thriller “ eyes in the picture on the right. It almost looks planned.

I think Garret Snodgrass will be a really good player for the Huskers some day.

Impressive film. He’s got a nose for the ball and is quick of the edge with good speed.

Disagree with so many of these selections. SMH. Unfortunately, Our record likely played a major factor.

How old is this kid, looks 30?
I was just thinking the same thing. Maybe he’s taking the picture.

So does this mean we are still in on Wandale?
It must. As an offensive player, you don’t choose Fresno over HCSF unless you hate offense.

I obsessed about Frost’s potential hire last fall more than anything I’ve ever obcessed about. And that’s saying something.

Good God. We’re there to play and try to win a football game. I swear some people just look for sh!t to get their panties all in a wad about.

Need to get better at stopping the run by next year or we’ll have trouble contending for the BIG west in 2019.

Proud of our 4th quarter but I don't know why our offense waits till the end of games to hit 4th gear. Same thing happened in OSU game.
3 is our unlucky number. We suck on 3rd down and in the 3rd quarter.

Iowa’s offense isn’t good. Our defense being bad doesn’t change that fact.
When did I say they were? Would you call Iowa’s defense “bad”? That’s what I was originally disagreeing with. They just put 31 on us and it’s not just because our D sucks.

I would categorize one of the least explosive offenses in power 5 as bad
How’s their bad offense working out for us? Sorry to bring this up again, but too many of you kook aid drinkers can’t seem to grasp how solid Iowa is and bad our front seven is. I hated to type this last sentence, but until we get a defense that can compete in the big ten, we will just have to outscore oponents. That’s not going to cut it in the big ten in November.

He’s on his 3rd or 4th D coordinator. The guy has just kept playing.

Great for him. He’s been playing his tail off. Happy for him.

That’s fine. It’s not how I see it, but that’s ok. Moving on ...

As others have said, 63 points looks good but digging deeper you see it wasn't Iowa's explosive offense creating these points. Don't get me wrong, they have an offense more capeable than MSU, but they just are not very explosive. Illinois has a more explosive offense if Corbin is playing. Iowa beats you other ways on offense and they are ok at that but still not great. Point being we can hold them under 28 and we need to.
I was just responding to your prior comment that Iowa’s offense is bad. They aren’t. They aren’t explosive, but they had their way against Illinois.

Their offense is still pretty bad which is good for us but definitely not as abysmal as MSU.
Their offense looked pretty good to me last week. Granted, it was Illinois, but 63-0 against a conference opponent these days is impressive.

You can’t coach 6’6” and his frame. Give Duval and the coaches some time and this young man will be a major contributor wherever position he ends up.

Domann can run with either on of them. His disadvantage will be giving up size to both, but he can definitely run with them and I think will be a huge piece of the gameplan by Chinander. I also think Chin may use Deontai Williams more in the box to help with this as well.
Good points. I also believe that TE coverage is a huge point of emphasis for Chinander this week. We need to be real physical and smack some guys. That way they'll think twice about crossing the middle on their slant routes.

I’m struggling to think of a blackshirt who can stick with Iowa’s TEs. We will get burned by their play action multiple times I fear. I’m hoping for no rain, because if our playbook is limited again, it could get ugly. It pains me to think this way, but I think we’re still a season away from turning the tables on the Hawkeyes.

Good for him. They apparently recognized his talent. Looking forward to seeing what he can do next season!
