Very frustrating and a little confusing… like why now? I could maybe understand after the first couple games, but why when we are running the ball well and knowing he would prob be a day one starter?

Alabama…f#&%ers. It’s like when you go to a dance and you’ve been dancing with the hottest girl all night, then to find out you have been in the friend zone the whole time when she goes home with the star quarterback.

LMAO why???  The kids are 17,18,19 years old. Colleges recruiting them is like them chasing girls. They dont know what they want. They think they do until they see some thing different. Have 100 different people telling them what they should do.

I dealt with this with both my boys with recruiting and where they wanted to go and end up. And they werent even big time recruits.

I really honestly dont think alot of people understand how the recruiting can impact and play with these kids lives and familys until they have had to sit down and deal with it for 2-3 years and watch it play out.

On a side note Lacys team is moving on to the 2nd round after their win tonight.

If they were so great, then why did Solich end up as a MAC coach after being fire, and why did Pelini end up as an FCS coach? Interesting how everybody complained about us firing Solich and Pelini, but no power conference team (and no FBS team in Pelini's case) hired them themselves.

Also, why did they go 115-82 and 33-28 against the lousy competition at their new jobs if they were so great? Wouldn't just about any Power 5 level (let alone Nebraska level) coach beat just about everybody while coaching at those lower levels?

Pelini was a winner here and his players loved him. Sorry he yelled at your son or didnt play him.

Solich ran into the NFL Hurricanes at the wrong time. Thats all..

As I watch the offense and scratch my head, I would like Satterfield to try:

    1. Pump fake by the QB. Good chance a CB bites.
    2. Roll out with a run-throw option

    3. Use the FB. I so want to believe they have it ready and are just waiting for the right time.

    4. A package with Sims that does not allow him to pass.  Perhaps, single wing? :devil
    5. Direct snap to the HB from shotgun.

Here’s hoping for a W. On a side note, I was not a fan of the 3-3-5, but my opinion has changed. I know NW sucks but loved the pressure!

I think we could have got pressure with 1-4-6 defensive scheme lol.

  4. This is for 2024 but I think we are going to have some Jets at WR next year. Love the fact that the 3 Freshman Wideouts are getting their burn now. Sucks how they got it but the only way these freshman can get better is play!!! Add some of the guys coming in and a Qb that can make proper reads and sling it and poof. We could have a real good offense. I think Purdy could probably be the better fit if the Wideouts come along.

  5. Being from His area this id was Viral his sophomore and Jr year for 7v7 and things he was doing at camps. He had to sit out his Sr year due to transferring from a not so good school to a better one and he didnt get approved by UIL. I would love to think he could pan out some where but i dont see him leaving Texas. I see him being another Omar Manning here unfortunately.

  6. 4-2 with some Squeaker wins with HH at Qb.

Insert a Duel Qb system with healthy Simms and we go 5-1 possibly 6-0.

both qbs are different with different running styles. I think it could be just enough change to throw defenses off for an extra 14 points a  game

This game was a painful reminder of how far away we are right now talent-wise.  Our defense is supposed to be our strong suit right now, and Michigan played like they weren't even on the field for most of the game.

That’s what happens when u have a NFL Oline vs 3 man rush. I don’t care if Hutch was undefeated in wrestling in highschool.

side note i like our chances the rest of the way. We won’t face a defense like, well a team like Michigan the rest of the way.

Is this post supposed to be clever, witty, or clairvoyant? Because it is none of those.

Nebraska hasn't been a bowl game since 2016. It lost at home to NIU in 2017. They also lost to Troy and Georgia Southern within the last five years.

So, it is a bit silly that some of our fans are 'laughing their asses off' about good performances against perceptibly less talented teams. One would think this fan base would've moved beyond that type of vanity.

Sorry Mr Haarberg, didnt mean to say your son was a bad qb. I actually like his play. But I also know who we played. I'm not laughing about a good performance. I am just aware of competition levels and the difference between Michigan and NIU.

Ley your  son know no hard feelings..
