The longer he doesn’t commit, the more uncertain this is. At this point we seem out of it. But Satterfield visited a couple a weeks ago. If he does schedule an official for here, then we know we are back in as little chance N may have.

Could also be real good in the slot.

I think you are right. Not only the success if this season, but how this all will look, will come down to the play of the offensive line and keeping Sims healthy.
A couple of things we saw in the Spring game: RPOs and Play Action (specifically 7 man protect). I don’t think the offense will be designed around Sims (even if they may say that) as much as it is designed to limit the liability up front. Those two play categories are exactly that. I expect to see a very pragmatic approach to football.Did Rhule once say the offense will be designed around the OL?

Ya, I knew what you meant. Just messing around.
No problem. I deserved that one. Cheers!

Why is Satterfield visiting Steve Sipple?
Ok, I get it that I screwed up the context. Hopefully you know what I meant.

What this means I don’t know, but Steve Sipple said Satterfield visited him about a week ago.

Frost's run-pass ratio was a pretty high ratio of run to pass. I don't know how much the offense under Rhule/Satterfield can be more run-oriented.
It will depend probably on how the Ds play against us. Maybe one game they throw it 20 times and in another 38 times. ???

I just hope he can catch the ball, and he had a bad day.

The longer this drags on without a commitment could be an indication Georgia is not a guarantee. At this point I would be surprised if he commits to Nebraska, but going to USC wouldn’t be. Perhaps USC is closer than some think? I just wish it was N.

I want to add that M Coleman in this article is also mentioned as the fifth top freshman prospect.

Could it be that Dylan doesn’t want to be a runner in Nebraska’s offense and just wants to just throw the ball? He didn’t run much unless he had to in HC. Could this be a possible deal breaker since Rhule wants duel threats running the offense?

I wonder what the issue with Wynn is. Wasn’t he considered part of the rotation? Could it be he wasn’t fully onboard being a Husker, and Rhule suggested he move on?

Which TE made that long catch for the white?

We’ve only ever had one, Jerry Tagge in 1972 was drafted 11th overall.
True. In the NFL, he did start some games, but he wasn’t very successful with the Packers. His lack of arm strength was part of the problem. However, he was a star in the CFL.

Will we see a triple option or two? I don’t recall him running any at Temple. Baylor? I don’t know.

Go get him, Ron Brown.

My impression has been he still plans to make an official visit to N. But going into May and he doesn’t schedule one, we can assume he’s not coming.

It’s difficult to recruit when the past product hasn’t shown much, and the new one is not proven. Rhule needs to show it on the field. It’s possible N may be a year or two too soon to land an elite class. Hopefully I’m wrong and the recruiting momentum picks up again.

Just committed to UW.
Never going to get them all. But losing to WI is annoying.

When you try to recruit higher profile HC players, they tend to take longer to decide. Some may be waiting on DR; others are taking visits to other schools. To me it’s neither good or bad.

In recruiting there will always be surprises good or bad. Isn’t the kid from Iowa still in play?

Who's your supplier?
Crap!!! Can’t stand leaving out important words. I meant to say, I’m “NOT” saying he is Vince Young. In fact I’m not saying he’s even close to that. He just has a very high ceiling. If he reaches that ceiling — he may not — he could be a great QB. But there are a share of IFS.
Add: I’m just going by what I’m hearing. So he could be great or be a bust. And the biggest thing, who knows about Dylan.- 1

You've determined that Ajay isn't motivated from one practice clip? Um ok.
I hope you are right. But that one clip was telling. But yes it’s only one clip, so I hope he has shown more.

You just can't take these QB's that are barely-average passers but good runners and have a good offense unless you have a good offensive line. It's pure bias by so many Husker fans to favor the running QB.
I believe it's wisest to incorporate more spread concepts and trot out the guy who is a passer first and foremost. If he can run also, you build that into the game plan. I just don't see being successful with the run-first guy anymore.
I'm not convinced Purdy or Sims can really throw the ball. But we'll see.
Then one more take: When we're talking 13 personnel, I think you either have to plan on having some pretty sneaky routes you're going to use with your TE's and build that into the game plan, or you have to have one hell of a running back if your plan is just a smash mouth game. I'm not convinced we have the back on this roster for that, so it'd probably have to be the former to be successful.
From what I have heard, Sims has been the best all-around QB, and RT has been the best pure passer.

Or he may wait into the early season to see how N does if he is pretty sure Georgia will wait. And see the new facilities. Or after June 2 he commits to Georgia, which at this point may the most likely occurrence.
