If we wouldn't have pooped the bed against Rutgers and Illinois....

Of course, that would have changed our seeding in the tournament so who knows how that would have changed as well.  We'd have one less win at the least (wouldn't have played on Wednesday) but....

Well weren't we the first Power 5 conference team with 22 wins last year and not make the tourney.  It would be interesting to be on the positive result this time for making a first.

I agree.  I can see a little bit of difference.  For instance, if I'm coming in and paying cash for a procedure, I would understand me getting a price break because the entire billing process wouldn't need to go through 10 different people at insurance companies, billing agents....etc.

BUT...when I'm getting billed 600% (or even 234%)  more than someone on Medicare......You have got to friggen be kidding me....

The reason that is though is you are paying for the Medicare patient or the uninsured person the hospital takes.

I love Nebraska and greatly enjoy the entertainment opportunities the state has to offer.  However, tourism is NEVER going to be our answer to state financing.  Colorado passed legal marijuana claiming it was going to fund their schools, roads...etc.  They still don't have any money to do anything.

This isn't the entire reason.  Colorado has TABOR that restricts the state from keeping excess money and has to refund it to the people.  This usually amounts to like $20 a person.

Secondly the voters consistently vote down public works projects or school funding and the legislature can never come up with a bill everyone can agree on.  So there is money there but gets put into pet projects instead of tangible ones.

Lastly you decriminalize marijuana and besides the tax gain from this there would be less incarcerated individuals which also helps the state budget especially if it was legalized.

  4. I hope this isn't just to appease a booster or two.  Seems crazy the guy who got us the coach they wanted now want to run him out the door.

This makes no sense for the constant change around the program.  Let's try to give it more than a couple years to see how things work.

  5. Coming back from our honeymoon in Jamaica was supposed to fly into Chicago but they were getting 6 inches of rain.  Instead fly to Dallas.  Get to hate in Dallas to fly home and gate change clear on the other side of the airport.  This happened 2 more times before we finally get out on our plane.  At this point we've been up 16 hours with another 3 hours on the plane and an hour car ride home.

  6. I thought that Devine showed flashes when he got opportunities early in his career of moving a pile to get the necessary  yards more so than the other backs not named Newby and Bryant.  His issue was he didn't have the wiggle when our sieve of an offensive line couldn't hold a block.  That changed with the new staff of him being in a better shape and increasing his wiggle along with a better offensive scheme.
