Judging others for looking behind the curtain?  Being intellectual is taking in ALL sides of an argument.  Being an intellectual is taking in ALL information available.  The one who shuts himself off from any side of an argument or shuts himself off from any kind of information (albeit "BS" information) is destined for big surprises later in their existence.

The moment you regurgitate BS like wearing masks are detrimental to your health, you lose all credibility.

Because you have scientific proof that wearing masks are not detrimental over a long period of time for every single human on earth?  No...no you don't.

  3. The fact that someone laughed at the massacre of 10,000 people in my post above is all the more evidence that we are living in the last days, wickedness abounds and the Lord is returning VERY soon.

Agreed. Conspiracy theorists gonna conspiracy theory. But the less exposure the rest of us have to their ideas, the better the chance we have of slowing their spread.

Where do we draw the line? I'd argue a dude rolling into a pizza joint armed to the teeth or some of these white supremacist or militia groups (i.e., Proud Boys, the kidnapping nutjobs up in my neck of the woods, etc.) being radicalized on these sites is ample evidence to suggest we're nearing that point, if not beyond it.

The QAnon true believers are probably beyond saving. But they should be quarantined to the darker corners of the internet where they can't continue to infect other people.

Yes....Qanon the only cult in the history of the world to tell its followers to "think for yourself" and "research things out yourself" and "come to your own conclusions".  And no, I am not a follower of QAnon.  But I do have an curious brain that likes to absorb information.

How do you think censorship started in totalitarian societies where everything is controlled and the truth is highly censored?  Did it not all begin with...."this is for the greater good"??

If you support censorship OF LITERALLY ANYTHING then you are no different than all of those in human history that were also pro-censorship.  Here is a short list:

    Nazis

    Communists

    Dictators

    Tyrants

    Totalitarians

Right now there are several billion people in China who all have internet on their phones and computers yet they have never heard of or ever seen pictures (see below) of the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre where massive protests of the people of China rose up against the communist regime and were gunned down by the thousands (10,000 lives lost).  This event has also been scrubbed from most super liberal commie loving university history books.  Our beloved free country is well on our way to this horrific nightmare of living our lives in a prison society where every bit of information is either twisted from the truth or censored and scrubbed all together.  And here I am conversing online with supposed 'fellow Americans who love freedom for all', having to explain that censorship in any shape or form is evil.  God help us.

So you still have no legit examples of harm done by masks from any study not funded by the Koch organization. This is all your speculation based on biased sources.

Just because there are no long-term studies on the effects of masks worn by every age group, pregnant women, people with disabilities, people with lung problems, does not mean that there is also no long-term negative effects of forcing every man, women, and child on earth to wear masks for most of their daily lives for years on end.  To think otherwise is illogical at best.

You might try reading that article as it's been updated because the paper it was based on has been withdrawn. From your link:

Plus the author falsely claimed he was affiliated with Stanford and the research has been debunked:

    https://retractionwatch.com/2021/04/29/mask-study-was-misleading-and-misquotes-citations-says-elsevier/

And guess what? An article I linked earlier was specifically about how that paper was debunked:

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2021/04/24/fact-check-study-falsely-claiming-masks-harmful-isnt-stanfords/7353629002/

You keep quoting USA TODAY as a source to debunk a medical journal.  If you presented this to any higher educational system you would be laughed out of the room.  Sorry, but journalists are not medical experts.  Also 'Reaction Watch' is a blog....A BLOG.  And I am the one pushing 'misleading info' and 'false information'?

Dude I am about to blow your mind. Ready?

Wearing non-n95 masks isn't about blocking the virus from entering, it's about slowing the virus leaving if you are sick. Can't take your argument seriously if you can't even understand that masks aren't for your own protection but for preventing you from getting other people sick.

Anyways, sorry that Christians are having such a tough time in America.

How is it that you believe a virus can easily enter a mask but not easily exit a mask?

i am 59 now and still wearing mask with no problems.   tell me when the long term effects will come into play.

You said you wear a mask at work only while doing certain tasks at work.  I fail to see how this is the same as wearing a mask all the time, all day in public, work, and even privately around friends and family.  The time difference here is extremely different.  How many children are also wearing the N95 masks at your job?  Because we are also requiring children to wear masks long-term in public, in school, and everywhere else.  Lets review your logic:

I am a 59 year old who has worn an N95 mask at work for certain tasks and have been just fine for years.  Therefore every single man, women, and child on planet earth regardless of age, gender, pregnancy, disability, ethnicity, or having any type of disease or comorbidity or pre-existing lung disability such as asthma etc. can also wear an N95 for long periods of time and also will not have any health issues as a result there of.

I am concerned about long-term health effects for wearing a mask all the time.  We have no clue what the long-term health effects are and you have yet to find out.

    Link to study, please.

"In addition to hypoxia and hypercapnia, breathing through facemask residues bacterial and germs components on the inner and outside layer of the facemask. These toxic components are repeatedly rebreathed back into the body, causing self-contamination. Breathing through facemasks also increases temperature and humidity in the space between the mouth and the mask, resulting in a release of toxic particles from the mask’s materials. A systematic literature review estimated that aerosol contamination levels of facemasks including 13 to 202,549 different viruses. Rebreathing contaminated air with high bacterial and toxic particle concentrations along with low O2 and high CO2 levels continuously challenge the body homeostasis, causing self-toxicity and immunosuppression."

What study shows that the bold is true? Because, again, medical staff have been wearing masks for a century without issue. When did masks suddenly become a health hazard?

When every adult and child started wearing masks 8+ hours a day 40+ hours a week.  The breathing of a doctor standing at a surgery table barely moving their hands is slightly different than the common blue collar worker engaged in hard labor

False. There's a lot of unsupported conjecture/conspiracy theories that masks are bad for people, but the science shows that there's virtually no risk.

What science are you referring to?  I would love to see a link to a long-term study showing that the vast majority of the carbon dioxide a person normally exhaled for good is instead being inhaled again for years and that it has absolutely no effect on their brain, lungs and body.  I am pretty sure no study exists and you are quoting main stream propaganda "news" who have an agenda.

@Bledred here's an article from last year describing how N95 masks work and how they can counter-intuitively collect particles smaller than the holes in the mask (brownian motion and electrostatic adsorption):

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/06/11/fact-check-n-95-filters-not-too-large-stop-covid-19-particles/5343537002/

The physics of how tiny particles interact with a mask is much more complex than just comparing the size of the smallest hole in the mask to the size of the particle being filtered.

I am very aware that N95 masks are the ONLY mask that are able to block the size of the virus from entering the mask.  99.99% of the masks I see day in and day out in are NOT N95 masks.  My stance that the current mask mandates are worthless is very sound and solid.

Asking the why question and critical thinking are imperative in this place.  Why are medical staff wearing masks?  I can tell you it is not to prevent them from getting an air borne virus that is more contagious than the common flu/cold.  Those parts of the hospital have people in full-body air tight bio suits.  Medical staff wear masks (during surgery and other up-close procedures) so that big stuff in their mouth (saliva, sneezing or coughing etc.) does not fall into or on the patient.  Yes, even medical staff can have a sneeze or cough that comes on so quick they do not have time to turn their head away.  My physician (and millions like him) never wears a mask during my yearly physical, standing right next to me checking my reflexes and listening to my heart, their office takes the correct approach in giving the individual the right, freedom, and choice to wear a mask or not.  Forcing people to do anything to their body against their will is totalitarianism, which is where we are at with the Fauci admitted ineffective masks.

CTB backed up from the 1 to about the goal line. Caught the ball, was immediately wrapped up, then like a 8 year old playing keep away with the ball on a school recess, tossed the ball out of bounds. So we luckily got a safety instead of them getting a TD, they got the ball and momentum. More of the "no fear of failure" culture Frost has instilled.

If Frost installed a "no fear of failure" culture and the next HC comes in and actually hands out consequences for poor play, then we are in for a avalanche of transfers.  We are basically going to have to do a total rebuild after Frost's failed total rebuild.

You should research how covid-19 virus spreads through the air and learn why the virus size doesn't matter.

What about your eyes?  Can you touch a surface with the virus and then touch your eyes and get sick?  I am pretty sure you can.  Social distancing is far more effective and far less destructive than masks.  Masks have been shown to be actually destructive when wearing for long periods of time.  It turns out that the human body is not designed to breath in its own carbon dioxide.  We as a world populace are going to find out that our children are going to have major lung damage and problems later in life because we thought we could stop a virus that is far smaller in size than anything you can smell through your mask.  Go ahead, try and smell potent things through your masks, I bet you can.  Can you smell viruses?  Nope.

We haven’t really been able to move anybody for about 12 hours. Our mission is now changing greatly. We have to send people into even greater danger to try to smuggle these Christians out, who are marked not just for death, but to be set on fire alive because they’re converted Christians.”

The main propaganda "news" we have in the US will not touch this with a 10 ft. pole.  They have an agenda (as does the State Dept.) as you can clearly see from the WP article.
