Yea no need to play, better to sit it out, ice up and prep up for next year.  I mean my life doesnt change if they play a bowl game or not so im sure there future careers dont involve playing extra games, getting extra reps and exposure.  I mean what football player would want to do that.

The reality to trailing sarcasm was very well done on this.

I agree with everything you are saying.  It is true.  The B1G spends too much time thinking it's the Ivy league.  I think with FB they should drop all conferences and go with 16 team pods, but I hugely digress into something that will never happen.

The idea of where you got/get your education and how "marketable" it makes you is becoming more and more irrelevant each year...and rightfully so.

You think? Nah, let's continue to do something different than any other sport on the planet.

Lol..your sarcasm noted. The institution of NIL should eliminate any narrative that went against the idea of 4+ teams because "that's just too many games..blah blah blah" ...these dudes can now make coin off of this.

Yes, you got it with the bold.

And fans tend to think that just looking at one half of the Iowa game translates into us being able to run 10-15 option plays with Smothers through the gamut of the B1G schedule next year. I disagree with this; I don't think his body could take it.

And then if he gets hurt, if Haarberg is QB2, he's not the same kind of option guy.

Smothers is a very, very serviceable backup QB. But I don't think he helps this offense maximize its potential for scoring points next season.

When you look at what UCF did in 2017, Milton was not running as much as Martinez did. And they still ran it 55% of the time. This means their RBs were doing most of the running. This is the direction I think we should go.

I also think a lot of this is dependent on what Martinez's status is and where his shoulder is really at.

I would take Joe Ganz as a QB every year

Never said Frost's was, but some fans actually want more passing than running or a more balanced offense.

We simply do not have the QB or the tackles to pass more often. Run the freaking ball.

We simply do not have ANY offensive skills to run or throw. Punt the damn ba.....s#!t, scratch that...QB kneel?

Anybody watch that show called Russian Doll?

It's like Groundhog Day, except the main character relives her 36th birthday over and over again, and each one of them ends when she dies. Every death is a little different.... hit by a car, drowning, electrocuted, blown up in a gas leak, heart attack, shot, anaphylatic shock from bee stings, falls down stairs, elevator accident, etc, etc, etc.... but she dies and wakes up again on her birthday. And then dies.

She only gets out of it when she finds another person trapped in a similar death loop and they have to find a portal to an alternate dimension that takes them back to the first "death" and only then can they get out of it by changing their actions of that day.

Nebraska football is in its own time loop, where they are doomed to lose every game by a margin of single digits again and again and again for all eternity. Perhaps the only way to escape it is to find some kind of inter-dimensional time vortex. Perhaps it's November 2003, perhaps it's another time.... who knows..... all I know is where the f---k is the way out?
