If Brody belt was the best player on the team I would start packing now if I was Frost

I think they are still referencing mainly his football IQ. He is Wyatt Mazour 2.0.

    Or Graham Nabbity

News flash, Thompson is going to start in 2022, unless Chubba Purdy also transfers to NU and is able to beat him out.  Nobody has any head start with Whipple, but Thompson's experience and QB skills give him the clear advantage going into 2022.

How did that thinking play out with Tanner Morgan or Sam Kellar ?

I don't see yet an OL stud or two ... so I really can't be too upset about losing a RB recruit for what we already have.  I thought this kid had the mojo/attitude to be a good one ... but still, he wants and needs blockers and I'm sure he started to really "consider" what we have and lost interest in the opportunity verses other options.

    Good luck to him.

I think you're right, this guy had something that can't be coached.  I wish him well.

Based on his comments back during his recruitment, I'm guessing he may still be open to coming here.  I'm not confident he would provide the immediate help we need though.

Please tell me he's not another Tanner Lee !

Because I have been frustrated for about two decades...I believe I have earned the right to be critical. To be honest. To long for a return to the days where we win conference games against anyone not named Northwestern. We suck. That is demonstrable fact. We don't have to suck, but we do. It's that simple. I watch tons of bowl games, and I generally cheer for our conference, but I am tired of watching our rivals play in bowls and we have to beg for a bid with less than 6 wins because...our fans piss away their money??? Whatever. I'm bitter, I'm frustrated.

    Dude, you need a hug

Look man, all I’m saying is they all had nearly identical stats through 30 carries. And it’s stupid as hell to think we know what Morrison is after 30 carries.

Agree 100% We can't really judge any of the backs or receivers based on what we've seen.  Wish Sevion the best, I know he will do well.

  7. Bring in Frank to coach the running backs he's a capable assistant coach, he was in over his head as a head coach at Nebraska and a pud school like Ohio.  He should have but couldn't win championships getting left over recruits in talent rich Ohio.

I think this is one area where NU has got to do MUCH better in if they have any hopes of doing anything besides racking up a losing record. I know Bell quit, Mo didn't pan out, Oz had one year, Mills didn't return etc......Not to mention Wan'Dale the featured "back" for what seemed like too many times over the past two years.  I hear that Held can recruit.  I don't follow recruiting so I have no idea, but it seems in year 4 we shouldn't ever have to use the word inexperienced and RB in the same sentence at Nebraska.  Are we getting killed by recruiting misses ie wrong guys, guys who just "don't get it", injuries or simply lack of coaching.  Bell #1 Juco, Mills #1 Juco IIRC and neither one, IMHO, set the world on fire.  Oz had a phenomenal senior year, but I really wonder was that the staff or his own determination.  When given his shot, he never looked back.  Our RB room, like the WR is high on potential, but LOW on production.  How do we improve that instead of waiting 2-3 more years for guys to be in the system....In the article, IMO, he didn't exactly inspire confidence.  Again, IMHO, he'd be more on the hot seat than Frost.  You can only coach what you have/develop.

Couldn't agree more with what you said.  Remember Ozigbo didn't get much playing time at the start of the season..

Trying to catch up as the story breaks. A little disappointed in the speculation. So let me just throw this against the wall.
