  1. It will be interesting to see what the 2021 numbers show with Delta in there.

It was always such a crime to lock kids out of their social interactions after the 2020 school year ended.  I understood the need in March and April, maybe even May to finish out the year , but beyond that it was insane for the Fauci’s of the world to cow tow to the teachers unions and not demand kids back in school for their own well being.

Exactly.  Someone complaining about the commission allowing candidates to talk over each other is complaining about the wrong people.  If Republicans don't like that....hey....don't do it.  The problem is, it's been adopted as a debate tactic.  Talk over the other person so he/she can't answer a question that could help them gain votes.

Can you please explain Candy Crowley and Donna Brazile?    Can you explain the “real time fact checks” that needed up being wrong in real time?  How these issues only seem to go one way, in favor of the Democrat on stage?   And you think the other side should just take it and ask can I have another:facepalm:

Chris Wallace joined the ranks of Donna Brazile and Candy Crowley. He coached Biden and corrected Trump. He lied when he said his intent was to stay out of the way, and lost his place as an unbiased moderator. It was quite apparent.  Wallace never pressed Biden, but threw a boyish tantrum at Trump.  And calls himself a moderator.  Funny how he joined CNN.  Debates do not need a person like him or Crowley every involved.

    All great points

    I’m not surprised.

You shouldn’t be either.   I mean Candy Crowley!?!??  Seriously?  And your happy with the moderators just letting the candidates talk all over each other, not answer any questions that are asked and asking questions that are at the bottom end of what’s actually on voters minds according to polls?   Hmmmmm.  Sorry for having higher standards:dunno

Wait, I thought it was pure racism to require a photo ID.  What about all those people you tried to tell me couldn’t get photo ID to vote??

Edit…and I agree on the main point.  people should not compare things to the Holocaust.   It never works out for them.

This was going to happen.... The Hispanics are a conservative people, with blue collar values.

Check out the polls on how much Hispanics want strong immigration policy and how many actually are in favor of the border wall.

But the key is if voting rights is handled now it will impact the next 8 years, and who is in office.  If the gerrymandering and other GOP led initiatives being put forth at a state level were curbed by a congressional bill I think the liklihood of the GOP rebounding and taking house and or congress is slim to none.

We've proven time and again in this country that the majority of people want a democrat in presidential office.  The only thing holding that back is electoral college, and all these crazy moves the GOP is trying to take in order to limit the impact of likely democratic voters.

And your last point is a good one - I will have to go searching for a comparison of state to state voting rules.  They are def dramatically different but would be interesting to see how it shakes out for each and check the patterns (of which I am confident there are)

    Gerrymandering isn’t unique to Republicans.

Chuck Schumer just admitted on video the reason they want the government taker of elections bill is so they can win more elections.

As been said before here, the GA and TX bills are less restrictive than state laws in true blue states like Deleware.

these republicans are not like the republicans of the past.  you have even said so and claimed you were happy about that.   that these republicans fight and are not pushovers.who will give in to the dems.     these republicans do whatever needs to be done to grab more power.    they prevented a supreme court justice nomination in the last year of 1 presidents term with claims that it shouldn't be done...and pushing another in the last week of another presidents term.    drafting memos and inciting a riot to try and over come an election in an effort to keep trump in office.   obstructing investigations to protect a con man.   the pattern is there.  if it benefits them...they will do it.

    LOL

What mistake? I'm trying to figure out what you're getting at here. Looks like a Charlie from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia conspiracy theory to me so far.

No idea what the Philly reference is to but the mistake of being the PR person for a riot instigator.

remember what they said and did about the supreme court?   Mitch says hi.  you are wrong...again.

Maybe you don’t know the difference between the words right and wrong.  Republicans have had control of all three institutions before and done nothing on the filibuster even when the Republican President pushed the Majority leader to do so.  I am right….again.

Misrepresenting hospitalizations and causes of deaths seems to be all the rage these days.

Man, it's so difficult to parse through the "news" and find the truth.

Kinda like saying 5 people died in Jan 6th riot when 4 were from natural causes.

They're thinking there won't be a next month without doing this, because Republicans are busy destroying voting rights.

The only way voting rights gets passed is if they end the filibuster. It's a gamble either way.

People already have the right to vote, it’s easy to vote, and no eligible voter is having their right to vote stripped away.   It’s a strawman argument to federalize elections which would be awful for the country.  All these posters know this but for some reason won’t admit it.

And why would that fake news be pushed here?  It couldn't possibly be to deflect from, and discredit, an investigation into their Leader or their party.   It almost makes you think s#!t's about to hit the fan so better find a new conspiracy theory to feed the base.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think anyone has posted about the red guy here before.
