Red hasn’t read any posts.  Archy says (in posts on this very Huskerboard thread not too long ago so it’s not hard to find) it should be now be legal nationwide.   
Archy also said in 2016, 2018, 2020 it was illegal in many states and tried to explain the concept of ballot harvesting to someone else who thought it was something different.

Campaigns know who has early voted and who hasn’t.  It isn’t hard for them to find this stuff out.

And FYI…people (in general) aren’t just signing their ballot and say here fill it out for me.  
 

Im done re-explaining all this to you.   Actually I’m now for universal ballot harvesting.   Just make it legal everywhere and may the best harvestor of votes win.   GOP has done a s#!t job at this in the past and needs to get better at.

Some states send out mail in ballots to every registered voter.  They don’t go through any trouble requesting anything.

So apparently you don’t actually know what ballot harvesting is.

ballot harvesting in a practical sense is going around to people who normally do not vote and who get mail in ballots.  You got to those people who have not returned a ballot and ask them to vote and you will turn the ballot in for them.  These people have no intention of voting till this process happened. In many states this isn’t legal if it isn’t a relative or if it gets past 4-5 ballots.  
 

for some reason you keep talking about something else.   Actually I probably know the reason and that’s to conflate the actual issue.

Yes I do. 

You don’t have to offer any money for it to be illegal.   Many states only allow a certain amount of ballots to be turned in by one person and sometimes ballots from only certain people.

The number of people who vote by mail is a minority.  So, to get 10,000 ballots, they would need to go to AT LEAST say 20,000-30,000 homes asking to accept this offer.  And, not one of those turned them in?

He literally says it’s happening.  All he is doing is hedging by saying he finds it hard to believe (his opinion only, after admitting it does happen and it would be virtually impossible to catch happening).  So either he’s wrong by saying people can’t do it because they will get caught, or that he’s lying by saying it’s impossible to catch.
