  1. All these subtle digs yet all I did was respond to bobots that continue to carry water for bo. And, not surprisingly, not one of you have responded to address any of the factual, objective statements.
  2. First, he isn’t hired for anything yet so slow your roll. Second, if hired I’ll laugh as all the SEC adds the vaunted jet sweep to their playbook, again it’s an automatic 700 yds. id disagree saying he was a better coach. His nine wins was all his supporters focus on when there is really much more. I’ll say again he did more damage and put the program back further than any coach I recall before or after. Below are a couple reasons along with a long enough tenure for the culture to really sink in... roster mismanagement and depth (2 scholarship lbs were here for MR and one of those had to be convinced to stay) 9 wins normalized as the ultimate goal turned us against the world to include their own fans Recruiting. For ~6 yrs we were on a self imposed probation where out of a class of 24, 10 wouldn’t make it here or would be complete turds. Due to the lack of recruiting, no depth led to no accountability. Players didn’t have to lift or even give effort at times because god knew #2 was horrible. his 9 wins were on thin ice, losing poorly to anyone with a pulse, against a very watered down big10 he pursued a jv te (dillman) at qb for the love of god in order to snub joe burrow. No they didn’t have Lamar Jackson committed. Defensive performances were really something to witness first hand. those disasters still stand. His sideline behavior, to the point of being 3-4 inches from assaulting a referee, were national embarrassments that continued the destruction of both the program and university. these are the big ones but sure I’m forgetting some biggies. my point is this isn’t just some grudge. The above items are all objective, facts, not some flame throwing and are 100% accurate. It bugs me for fans, who btw he hates you, continue to carry water for him making excuses and pointing back to a time very far removed. Using that logic Nebraska is still elite based on our 90’s run.
  3. Badmouthing or truth telling. I’ve said nothing that was incorrect or inaccurate. IMO he had two problems....he should have fired that clown a yr earlier after he almost assaulted a referee on the field and his replacement being MR.
  4. No not at all. I’ve acknowledged he deserves credit for the turnaround but after year 3 there really was very little to be optimistic or cheer about. In year 7-8 one would think the coach and his roster should look better not substantially worse. The hot garbage takes are those that continue to make excuses for a man child in spite of the blunders on field and off. He’s coaching at a level more his pace and even they want him gone.
  5. Revisionist history. No to good luck. He’s a horrible coach and worse human being. Him being a d!(k was but only part of his problems.
  6. I’ll wear it like a badge of honor, but I’ll say that hatred is mutual. He obviously showed hatred and disdain for the fan base, the state, and the program. I can’t let excuses for this clown go unchecked. Call it one of my flaws. fact remains, that many of the bobots make excuses for him. They mention conference change, Mike Riley, recruiting, etc.....but make no mistake he caused more damage to the program than anyone outside Steve pederson than any of the three previous coaches.
  7. Um my 4 year olds “schemes” work with elite recruits. So let me get this straight....we want to take the delorean back to when the big10 was a cesspool or under probation. Then send the damn thing back pulling a trailer to bring back all the talent from Callahan. I boggles the mind the water people continue to carry for this lunatic, excuse after excuse after excuse. The excuses.....I know right. Bobots treat him as if he’s a god and he’s barely holding on to HC at YSU for Christ’s sake.
  8. Can we Marty McFly it back in time to the years bo got to play and osu and psu team on probation, a Purdue, Iowa, and Illinios team that were hot garbage, a MN team that was avg to below, and a mich team that had just fired their HC. Nah, ok cool comparison bro.
  9. So again, comparing frost against either of those two as he fixes their mistakes is laughable. Do you also compare research projects of pre k to Hs students.
  10. So again with the excuses....he’s coaching a large Hs in northern Ohio not because nobody wants him but because he doesn’t want them. Newsflash, YSU wants him gone. for the record #1 is accurate and if by chance he gets a dc role #2 would be accurate. Not to worried about it, if it happens, just have the other team run the jet sweep.....automatic 650 yds
  11. These are the kind of excuses that provide cover for bo. He isn’t the defensive mind some of you give him credit for. The man couldn’t design a defense to stop the jet sweep. Let that marinate for a little while.
  12. That is but one example. How about losing the big10 champ game to a what, 7 win Wisconsin team in a boat race. wait what was the lead we dropped to UCLA at home....21. how about letting franklin (UCLA) simply catch swing passes against Compton okay after play with no adjustment. Great defensive mind for sure. these are just a few there are more. And I’ll mention again. This clown was in charge of the defense when the big10 was awful. michigan osu, psu, Indiana, Purdue, mn, Iowa, Maryland, are all significantly better now then they were then
  13. Bo was, is still, and will forever be a clown. let me get this straight. You want me to compare frost in yr two, working to fix the blunders of both pelini and Riley, to bos defense in yr 7. Just curious do you also compare kindergartners finger paintings to the Mona Lisa. for the record again, some of Nebraska’s WORST defensive performances not only came under bos watch but came in yrs 5-7.
  14. No he shouldn’t have known he’d move to the big 10 but in yr 5 whose fault is it his defense and his roster couldn’t catch up. On top of that it was a really watered down big10 which likely helped his “stats”. Iowa, MN, PSU, Maryland, Purdue, Indiana, and even Illini are a way better than they were then. BTW, I would think an elite defensive mind could figure out how to stop the jet sweep. Why do I say that? Because average to below avg defensive minds have figured out how to defend it, with lesser players.
  15. So agree to a point. MR continues to get shade as he should, but he didn’t exactly inherit a good, or even avg roster, nor a good culture. Bo created more damage than any of the 3 previous coaches to the program. To be clear I didn’t say all, I said some, but it had a ripple effect through the team. For every Ameer or Rex, you had an Andrew Rodriguez, chase Rome, or the cotton kid. Looked like all the lifted was a bud heavy and a burrito. When your best lineman goes to the combine (gates)and benches 225 less times than I did out I’d HS don’t tell me they were working hard. Just a few examples but the point was they couldn’t or wouldn’t be held accountable because of a lack of depth or want to. And yes below avg coaches across the board didn’t help
  16. So I don’t agree....but yet, even if you’re right here he still sits. And right now just happens to be on the hot seat in that little northern Ohio school.
  17. So in year 8 whose fault is it he didn’t have the players. This dill weed is so dense he couldn’t capitalize on the success such had here. Also, not like he had one yr in the big10, he was working on what yr 4-5. It was also a shell of what the west is now.
  18. Umm....he was about 3 inches from whipping a ref with the back side of his hat....talk about awesome publicity for the program. This was right before he swore several times in his post game presser and ~12 months from taking a flamethrower to the program on his way out. He’s toxic and did more damage to Nebraska than any coach ever has....the fact some hide behind “9 wins” doesn’t change that.
  19. No way I found you.....so I have these magic beans for sale......
  20. Yes his 9 wins a year beating a watered down big 10 and his whale trophy. Any reasonable person can see his 9 wins was, and had been, in serious jeopardy for at least a few yrs. as the big10 got better no way he kept that up. He’s a clown and isn’t HC or dc at a pwr five material.....my proof. After what....yr five.....he’s barely holding onto coaching a big Hs in northern Ohio.
  21. They also knew when and how to get to work. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been true the last 20 yrs. hard work was optional and our previous three coaches held no one accountable
  22. No. He had a good run almost ~15 yrs ago as dc on an elite team. Over the past 10 there is very little evidence “bo knows defense”. Again below avg HC and just a meh dc, factor in his attitude, laziness, and sideline behavior and he’s simply not worth it. I’d be surprised and then feel sorry for any fan base that got stuck with him in any capacity.
  23. Previous coaches were unable to hold players accountable because of lack of success and focus in recruiting. The way frost has recruited, specifically the last two yrs, and with the walkon on program you hope you get to the point to “next man up” and “there’s the door”. Just be careful, I started a thread here previously and some were really triggered at the idea of helping people transition out of the program for any reason outside a felony charge.
  24. Except when he was at Nebraska, as you acknowledged, he was in charge of the defense. Call it what you want, but he was either in charge of the defense or he wasn’t. Can’t have it both ways, and I don’t think you want to go down the path of arguing pooch was in charge. Fact is he hired yes men to coordinator roles for that singular purpose he wanted to be in charge and never questioned. So he owns it 100%.
  25. So you are saying it was bos defense because pooch was dc in name only and it had bos hands and calls all over it. BUT he isn’t responsible for the defensive meltdowns against anybody with a pulse cuz he wasn’t the DC so it’s all on pooch. Yeah not sure that kind of math adds up. Pooch either was the DC, majority responsible for d and all calls OR it was bos baby and he shoulders the blame. you didn’t say he was highly sought after but are clearly defending him as some elite defensive mind and dc.
