He does seem to want to put Americans first, which I think is a good thing.
His vaccine takes are not moving more mainstream with actual scientists or withstanding any level of scientific rigor. If you think his stance is moving more mainstream among the general public then that only shows disinformation does make an impact.

Comer's star witness against The Big Guy was indicted
Their conspiracy theory about 2000 Mules was shattered
Their cult leader is going to trial on criminal charges
Tucker Carlson was bent over by Putin and used as a useful idiot for all to see
Biden, the senile old fart that he is, successfully rigged the entire NFL season. Now Swift has an even larger platform to help register scores of young voters (gasp) and the vaccined star tight end rode away with the girl and the title while the anti-vax hero never made it out of game one.
It was a tough week. Trashing a successful woman of color is all they have as evidenced by the thrashing about trying to come up with the next disinformation distraction.
