Yes, I absolutely 100% agree with your post. If certain players did not want to play I believe they should have been able to opt out. I would not have held any ill will towards them. However I think there was a lot of players that did want to play in a bowl game and I think that their voices must not have felt like they were heard. To me it just seems like you're running away from a fight and that's not the Nebraska football team I know. 

On the plus side though I do think that Frost finally has a team of players that 100% want to be here and I think are going to contribute to make this a better program. As I say that I do remember hearing I believe it was Sam McEwen on the radio yesterday saying to expect transfers, who and what positions he wasn't clear on. I look at it as addition by subtraction. Kind of the same way I looked at McCaffrey and Robinson leaving.

What is so upsetting to me is that they refuse to play a bowl game last season. Or I guess I should say McCaffrey and Robinson refused and then they left. 

Really should have played the bowl game I'm pretty disappointed that they didn't. it's a matter of pride and to me that just shows cowardness.

mmmm recruiting battles would say otherwise. 

Ohia state will offer just to keep  Nebraska from getting him. Then he will enter the portal and end up at South Dakota State.

I think if moos was trying to drink devaney under the table we would know about it by now. Nearest I can tell is that was all a rumor. Not saying bill doesn't enjoy a cocktail but I don't think it was as extreme as people were led to believe.

Yeah I imagine this has to just be a shovel and ceremonial first dig.

Wow props to whoever offered this guy, there are a lot of schools between Saraland and Lincoln but it looks like he wants to leave the state.  It would be good to get into Alabama and be able to start pulling away some of their instate players.

See I feel the same way, How in the wide wide world of sports does the USC and Nebraska staff, not catch what it is he is injured with.  Misdiagnosed ? That seems like a reach considering the univerristies usually have top of the line staff and equipment to prevent a misdiagnosis. But here we are all the same. I don't expect to see Stepp ever carry the ball but thats just me.

Also you know what would jazz up this board? Is if we could get pop up adds every 2-3 seconds..................

I was confused on if he played DT or DE

Very disappointing.  To  me the games they lost, it seemed like they did not want to fight to beat a team that was as good or better then them. 

Pretty upset I thought this team had a lot of talent, enough to go farther then they did. 

Texas of all the teams to lose to. 

I guess there wouldn't be a running back unless you had 3 wide outs. Anyway it was just a thought.

Well it is obviously not a perfect  scheme but if that is the case we release Wandale and let either a pulling guard or RB take the big galute 

I'm drinking the Kool-Aid. I would like to see bets line up at tight end position just a package to throw the defense off and plus I think he has enough speed and athleticism to beat linebackers. 

Back when we had Wandale, I wanted Frost to run a package with four wide tight ends and then put wanDale on the line in the tight end position. So you have height and size difference on the outside and then a speed difference in the Middle with Robinson. I think it would be a big mismatch for the defense. Plus the quarterback could run with the tight ends blocking.

I tried to toot my own horn here but I predicted smothers and Manning would be a dynamic duo. Honestly I'm drinking all the Kool-Aid this year I haven't felt this good about Nebraska football a long time I think we're going to win some football games

Colorado hasn't been good since the 90's, Sounds like they are living in the past!

I don't know why by the height worries me. I know it shouldn't but it just seems to me that at 6'1 it would be difficult for him to stay in the pocket as a pro style QB and see over our linemen. 

I know Brees and Rogers and others say hello, and the height is not to be a real concern, but I can get over it. 

Yeah I think Betts is going to be a weapon.  

Betts and smothers I think will be a good tandem going into the future. I look for Betts to be the guy to get us out of 3rd and long situations.

Yeah I am a little perplexed about Stepp injury. He didn't know about the injury and our staff didn't know about it before here transfered here? Seems odd that neither  USC didn't know about it or did not disclose it. Stepp didn't know about it or didn't disclose it and our staff didn't do a medical evaluation before he came here... 

We're going to need some help because I'm hearing rumblings at Kurt rafdal is entering the transfer portal
