  1. I can see us with 6 wins minimum I really like Goss post. Honestly we are close to beating toss up games. So 6-10 wins is what I see... If our WR corp gets going I think we can turn a corner this year which would be a year sooner then I predicted. Then Next year with a ton of talent returning and a considerably easier schedule I think we win our division.

Also our defense this year will keep us in a lot of games. And our offense really only needs to put 10 more points up a game and we have a winning season. We are closer then what it appears to be on paper.

  2. See I like that because then we can see which state and high school they are going after or where they are having the most success bringing in players I know the Frost era is new but it would be cool to see what it looks like over 10 years.  See where the recruiting inroads are being built and what coaches have the best ties with what high schools. Its just more interactive for the fan and that is always a positive.

I don't know anyone who doesn't have this as the ultimate goal for the program.  However, that doesn't mean we can't have small goals along the way of incremental improvement.  If we make it to a bowl game this year are are competing for the division, that's a small incremental goal on our way to the ultimate goal.  If I'm happy or excited that we do that, that doesn't mean my ultimate goal is different than yours.

yeah..... So in going undefeated I kinda already included all those small little goals that you are talking about....

  4. Honestly I have been thinking about this and I don't know why I answered differently the first time I responded to this thread.

My expectations for Nebraska football is to go undefeated and win the national championship every single year. And I don't move my bar on that.  That should forever remain our goal.

  5. He does throw a good football accurate nice spiral I'm cautious of all the dancing he does in the backfield though I just don't think he's going to be able to do that in college. The game is much faster however he does remind me of Trevor Lawrence. So I think it would definitely be worth the ship offer

  6. I once got into a heated debate with my girlfriend on what we would name our son if we ever decided to have one child and it happened to be a lad.   I loved Tom Scott. (Really I was just messing with her. ) but the more I said it the more I liked it. However I think it would be more fitting for a dog or a Triple crown winner.

Benhart, Piper, Hickman, Thompkins, Robinson, Javin Wright, Pola-Gates, Farmer, Henrich all still redshirt freshman.

Some consequences of the COVID season weren't all bad.

I would like to nominate this as POTY post of the year, because it genuinely brought a tear to my eye.

  8. After he got benched Teddy went on a 4 game tear that rivaled anything I have seen in a Nebrasketball uniform. He elevated his play and his leadership more than I ever expected he could, I knew he had more to give but was surprised when he surpassed my expectations. He will be missed but pryor to his benching I thought he wasn't good for the team and we played better without him. Wish him the best

Now we have room for Hunter....

  9. Bahahaha, so me expecting our National championship caliber volleyball team to come out and play the way they did on Sunday every single match is irrational. Then when they don't and I express my concern is in your opinion me proclaiming by he sky is falling?

Did you see the difference in play from Friday and Sunday? Why on Earth should we not call out the horrendous play on Friday for what it is?

I don't think it is fair to lob this criticism toward John Cook. The guy knows how to have the girls ready to play.

Cook is definitely worth his salt I am not arguing that, but you can see the difference in the way the girls played today vs Friday. Same teams/lineup what was the difference? IMO it was the way they approached the game. Now I know that it wont be a overnight fall from grace but I watched Nebraska roll their helmet and fat a$$ out on the field and expect a win and it just does not happen that way. It is a gradual process to fall from the top  but if you allow little things to come in and effect the approach it will compound and you will get into a situation like the football team.  To me there is no reason why Nebraska volleyball should ever not be in the final four, and with the performance they game on Friday they wont get there, conversely with the performance the gave today they will.

  11. Honestly they played terrible. Smiling and having a good time in the first set when they was down like 5 points. It does not appear that they take it serous enough. All I am asking is for the day of the game you get into game mode and stay that way until the job is done. I am tired of our teams showing their a$$ on the basketball court the football field the diamond and now it is leaking over to the volleyball court. I know that our coaches are serious about winning why are our players lackadaisical on game day?
